the deal here has always been that if people stay over unexpectedly, they're staying in our house, so if we - in the widest sense - need to access the room they are sleeping in before they're up, we will.

so I'd have let DGD loose on son's friend and girlfriend as soon as she wanted to be up! no need to make them feel too much at home!

Well I have had my sleep. Feel a little better. The cold seems to be undercontrol a bit now.
My arm is very bad. Thats due to all the extra driving yesterday no doubt!.
Have a second load of washing on, no sorry its the third one. So I will be aiming to do the last couple of loads either later this evening, or first thing tomorrow.
Cannot wait to have my "whirly gig" dryer and its cover in the next week or so. Will need it putting into the ground, and some leveling off to it though!
I am going to see if I can muster up the energy to go and find something other then my dressinggown to wear before BF arrives. (Alas, I am cosy in it, but its not exactly a very glamourous look!).
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

I shall tell DS that in future, his friends (if they have to stay, use his room, and he uses the sitting room!). But I didnt know that they were going to stop downstairs. I thought it was DS.! Still your right, I am far too soft for my own good.
I shall have to toughen up in 2011!

    Hi Mooloo

Saw your new thread and wanted to say Happy New Thread, Happy New Home and Happy New Year.

Sorry to read further down that you have had car and DS problems. Agree with others, tell him his mates can't stay, if you want an excuse for the moment say not till you are sorted out.

Hope you a feeling a bit better and can enjoy the time with BF, cosy dressing gown or not :D

All the best for the new year xx

    Happy New year Mooloo!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
