Happy New thread! I hope your contact goes well and the psychologist has some "disappearing into the background" skills. Your new house sounds lovely, I hope that having secure, long term housing will help you feel safe and settled.Eat food, not edible food-like items. Mostly plants.0

Just wanted to say hello mooloo and to wish you all the best for 2011. I have just discovered this thread although I have been a member for a few years, mainly posting on the coupons thread which I heartily recommend to anybody that needs to save money. They are a very friendly bunch and I have saved loads of money since subscribing. If you can, check it out. I also wanted to ask you if you have ever looked on your local Freecycle site. Most areas have one and once again I can recommend it. People give away things that they no longer require and that includes sheds. Also plants, furniture etc and I have been given some brilliant items by great people. I will definitely be following the thread with interest and hope that the info I have given is of some use to you. Good luckx0

Shaz I know exactly how you feel as that is what has happened to me, hence the limp the walking stick, and feeling old before my time. i am also on Tramadol now, as well as the gabapentin etc etc, he tried Codine but that made me yuk. so perhaps you need the codiene instead.
I have run out of Tramadol and am really suffering now. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi to all the old followers and the new!
Its been a disasterous day.
The car broke down on the way to collect twin2 to see her boys.
This meant that we didnt get to see them.
My Ex husband came to try and start the car, but it didnt work, so he took DGD to her Mum, (twin1), and I waited for the breakdown people.
The SW collected Twin2 and took her to see the assessor, but it was too late for her to have a visit with the boys (DGS1 got to see his Dad though).
I had to go and take the car for a diagnostic test after the roadside team got me on the go again, and ended up trying to do several things at once.
I called into twin1 with some money as she had no money and no food to feed DGD she said. then I had to go to my parents house, to collect some money (my emergency funds), gather up DS and his tag alongs, drop him at the new house, then get to the garage 20 odd miles away, get the car looked at etc, come back to another garage for the battery to the car, then go back to Daventry to collect twin2 from the centre. Got to meet the assessor and talk for a little while.
Twin1 rang up saying where was i, etc and that she couldnt cope with DGD, so we went straight back to her. BF of Twin2 answered the door, as he had been summonsed to help with DGD.!
Then it was drop them off, back to the cottage to hand in the keys and home!
One exhausted and stressed out Mooloo here.
If there had been wine in the house I may have drank it!
I have the beginnings of a heavy cold, and cannot stop sneezing, and my face is now becoming quite puffed with it all! So New Years Eve is supposed to be a night off from DGD (Ex and his wife are supposed to be having her), and a night out with my BF. At this rate I think I may be curled up in bed with a hot water bottle!
DS is still here with his appendige (mate from family from hell). I said I was not up to driving them back. (We have dense fog here in all of this by the way!), They will have to stop tonight, then I will get them to do a few box lifting again tomorrow. (They moved a few so I could get to the cammode and the tablet drawer earlier). I hope they will have a go at pulling the washing machine out for me, and putting the new hose on I bought in the middle of my dash.(Just between collecting BF of Twin2, and dropping them at thiers)!.
DGD is in the bath, hopefully she will sleep tonight. I am watching her through the door, so dont worry shesn not alone.
I like watching her when she doesnt realise it, she has imaginative play with her toys.
So maybe not such a good day. But at least we are all home safe tonight. Be all are warm, and there is still food for us to eat. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Sorry it has been such an awful day Mooloo. I think for you the worst bit would have been missing out on seeing the boys, such a shame for you when the visits are few and far between
I hope the cold does not develop in to anything so you can at least enjoy your night off from DGD - another thing that is now few and far between.
Hugs :grouphug:

Morning from the kitchen here at "Cafe Halse" as Molly and I have nick named the place.
I am sitting with DGD trying, and failing, to keep her occupied as DS's mate and his girlfriend are asleep in my reclining chair, and DS up in his room.
We ended up having a bit of a heated discussion/arguement quite late on yesterday.
DS is bitter about the Twins getting my attention. (I suppose thats enevitable) but he put it into monetary terms which really through the cat among the pigeons.!
It was a very jaded and knackered Mooloo that didnt get too bed until after midnight in the end.
DGD has been awake since 7am, and I tried to keep her upstairs but thats not easy with her. She is a rather single minded little person at the moment, and like a lot of toddlers, pushing her boundaries, and stamping her feet etc etc.
Well lets hope that today we get some peace and quite at some stage and that I am feeling well enough to go and see BF. Not that there are any plans apparantly. (so dispite having a night off from DGD, and the opportunity to put on some glad rags, and go out, it looks like it was not going to be happening after all!).
No idea what will be the events of today. DS will no doubt want to go to the mates again, for the New Years Eve celebrations! I am worried that he is drinking far too much. The amount of cans he and his mate generated yesterday is more like a party had been going on! He isnt even 18 for another 12 days.
The sun is just beginning to lighten the sky here, I hope its not going to be such a miserable foggy day as it was yesterday. Could do with a bit of sunshine. Want to get to the bottom of the garden soon.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
