Yes I think his bill will be into the thousands. So its going to be a non starter. He meaured the garden and it is a lot longer then I estimated, by about 40ft! Its 49metres, so that relates to 159.25ft! I thought it was around 120ft.
I shall inform the SS Foster Team when the quote comes in. I think maybe we will just have to be taking it a few feet at a time.! It may take me a few years!
Today my BF is coming over. He has sourced me some flagstones for the shed base. Which have been ocupyining him, moving them, from the supplier to his place. Then they will need to be brought here. In dribs and drabs by the sounds of it, they are 2ft ones. Mind you it will mean less needed.
I have a bit of housework to catch up on before he arrives. DGD has been cutting up her magazines and there is paper all over the front room.
To add to it, my washing needs doing, and when I came down this morning it was showing Error?20 so I may have problems with it. (Over worked it over the last 3 odd years ).
Time to get on, have my shower and hopefully be able to move. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I have had a productive Weekend. BF was brilliant, he brought over some of the large flagstones that he bought for me, and dug over the land where the shed is going to be. He also built the bookcase that DS has not bothered to do.
I have been trying to clear the garden, surface area, and once again found a rusty blade to a pair of shears, just below the grass. So it looks like I have a hell of a job ahead of me.
This afternoon I have cut out 5 holdall bags, and the trim for a couple of towels. The experimental chair cover is in the washingmachine being dyed purple.
DGD has been drumming most of the day!
BF is coming back on Wednesday with the rest of my slabs. Bless him.
DS is stopping at his friends once more. So it will be a quiet night tonight.
Not looking forward to the coming week, (apart from Tuesday when biggest of Mooloo's and I, are going to the hairdressers and I am going to have my very long hair cut short!). A week with no Nursery to distract DGD. Ihope the weather improves and she can be outside. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning, later start then usual today. But nothing on the agenda as such, so it doesnt matter. DGD was a little out of sorts last night, so we had a few disturbances. But she seams OK this morning if a bit quiet.
I managed to put the trim on the two towels. Think I want to add some ribbon and lace before I will be happy with them.
I also managed to make up one of the bags, in the Cath Kidston, Mono rose in Turquoise. Really quite happy with it as it is. But think that I will probably alter the next bag to have a pocket inside and not just be lined. I was going to start on the second one, well I did do a strap, but then my arm said, enough was enough!.
This morning I have managed to listen to the motivational CD, read a couple of chapters in one of my Frugal living books, while using the Bluelight. And then DGD woke up just after my session had finished. I feel much more awake then I would normally when we first wake up.
Whether it is all in the mind or not, I am feeling much more upbeat then I have done of late. So if its working, its all I need. Not the hows or whys it works!
Bit of a tidy up needed this morning. I also want to update the menu plan as I have twin2's BF coming for tea, and stopping over as he has work here in the local pool. Training course.
My purple chair cover is hanging from the shower rail, slowly drying. I still cannot find what I did with the other one! Oh well it will turn up somewhere.
Onwards and upwards then. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I have managed to make two more bags, with pockets. Just finished the second one, so now its time for a break and a late lunch. (We did have some doritos earlier).
DGD is quite quiet today, which after a few days of her shouting at the top of her voice, its amixed blessing.
Some lace I ordered from Ebay has arrived, along with some strippy fabric also from Ebay. (I am terrible at getting last minute fabric buys on the internet!). I have so many ideas to make things when I see them I cannot resist. But I must resist, as I am not selling anything at the moment. Havent done a market since September, or was it October. It was early anyway.
Perhaps I will make a selection of things, surplus to my needs and have another go.
Cannot find the camera so cannot put the picture up at the moment. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning, Better night. DGD woke me at 7am.
BF of twin2 is stopping over as he is doing a course at the local swimming pool. Lifeguard stuff.
Today Molly and her daughter are going to look after DGD while I go and see the doctors and then go with Biggest of Mooloo's for my hair cut. Its very rare I see inside a hairdressers! Going to have my hair cut shorter, as its just a bit too long to manage now.
Better go and get ready! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

DS is home and he commandered the computer. Just had to do a "snatch back".!
I am quite well compared to off late, which is good. I am putting it down to two new routines. Listening to my Paul McKenna CD first thing in the morning, and last thing at night, and the use of my Blue Light.!
DGD is not too brilliant, her runny nose has turned into a sore throat now. The chemist said that Benylin is not prescribed for children under 6 now. So just a glycerine and syrup medicine, which has done absolutely nothing. So I think I may make an appointment for the doctor today. Her throat is a bit swollen.
Twin2 is currently here. Biggest of Mooloo picked her up for me yesterday. So I will have to take her back home later tday.
Her BF is doing his life guard course here so stopping over. (Its a bit teadious but its only till friday).
Twin1 didnt come over as we were over crowded.
DS even came home! So we are full too bursting!.
My BF is coming over today, he has taken the day off work, and is bringing me the rest of the flagstones, and we are going to attempt to get the shed built finally.
Postings will resume soon.!:DWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
