    Morning, Thanks.
The referral letter was on my door mat when I got back off of Holiday. I get to see a physio next Thursday. So another week to go.
I shall get Molly to remind me of the differences. She has a brilliant memory and can remember what I was like when! She will be able to tell me what I was like, although my legs were worse last year, I remember by Sept I was starting to use a walking stick. But havent really had to use that since the warmer weather hit around June/July time. The sciatica has been behaving which is a good think. We should always be grateful for small mercies.
I will find out about hydro therapy.
Errata, I now use a cushion under my laptop on my knee. So my arm is at a different angle.
I hadnt used the sewing machine before yesterday, so the problem is obviously the position my head must end up in while I am concentrating on the hand sewing.
Twin1 was here yesterday, my Dad drove her over for me. So I was able to get a rest. She also gave my shoulders a massage, and my neck, which relaxed some of the tighter muscles and allowed me to sleep much better. Infact it was the bin men emptying the bins which woke me this morning. Even DGD slept late. She was still fast asleep and we had to wake her at 8.10 this morning. So we are running very late.
The arm is still not good. Feeling very odd.
Was thinking I may have to stop driving for a day or two. So may see if Twin1 would walk DGD to Nursery. She hates walking though.
Least the sun is shining. Time is running out to make a decision as Nursery is at 9. I am not even dressed yet.
Twin will be expecting to be taken home. So I will need to make arrangements with my Dad to collect her again, if I decide not to drive.
Then I will need to walk to the Nursery to collect DGD at 3pm.
    Decisions decisions.
Right I shall be making sure I am not on here long now. So no computer surfing for longer then the few minutes of updates here and the bank balance.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • Mooloo, don't forget to put your laptop on a hard back book or a tray when it is on the cushion, as the fan will overhead leading to expensive repairs. x

Just to let you know that Mooloo is having a rest from the computer for a day or two. Her shoulder is very painful and she is on strict orders to rest up so no driving, sewing or computer. Hopefully that will do the trick and she will be feeling much better soon :T:T:T
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Just sneaked on to say, feeling better today. But not stopping. Staying away. Just had to pay a bill!.
Missing all my activities. Sleeping as much as possible.

Went down hill a bit yesterday evening, so have booked a doctors appointment this morning. Getting worried that things are not improving after a week of little activity. Molly and her daughter have been great to me this week. My eldest daughter came over with the baby yesterday. Twin1 had originally cancelled having DGD today, but with a little sisterly word in her ear, she has managed to get her friend to pick her up and they have collected DGD to MK so I can go to the doctors etc.
Will not be going or doing anything. Even typing this is agravating. So I will stop now.
Thanks for the good wishes. Appreciate them.
Molly deserves a medal considering all her hospital appointments, 4 kids to carefore, and now me!

I have been asleep all afternoon. The doctor has given me a change of tablets and also has sent me to the physio department to have a neck collar fitted. I am struggling with this, as I am not very good at things around my neck. (Having had a bad experience as a teenager, when someone tried to strangle me). But I must see if this will help me.
I am to go back mid week, I also have my physio appointment on Thursday this coming week too.
The tablets have helped me a bit already, even if it was just to sleep. Which I didnt think would be possible with this thing around my neck. I keep touching it and trying to take it off of my neck! Right thats enough typing for now.

  • Big hugs to you Mooloo! I hope that things improve quickly. x

I dont deserve a medal. I know you would do the same for me my friend. You keep resting and be assertive about what you need !

Hope you feel better soon, Mooloo, and Molly41, if Mooloo thinks you deserve a medal then you do!
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
