Mooloo's New Home, New Year and New Start part 3

Hi Mooloo
I hope you have a lovely holiday.
I ordered one of the washing line covers, it arrived a couple of days ago & I'm very pleased with it. I really cannot afford to run my tumble dryer this year, so it should be a great help.
Hugs Hester

The person said that they could not sell me a washing line cover until next year because my washing line is rectangular shape and apparently they would have to make it especially for me. He also said it would cost twice the price but I do not know what the price was to start with. :eek:0

Glad your happy with yours, I really do find mine invaluable.
So many of the neighbours etc have started to ask, including the window cleaner and people at the Nursery. Maybe I should be on commission.!
He is a very small business chap I think Jo4.
I actually bought a rotary dryer from him as well. So they went together. But then I didnt have one to start with.
My one was £39.99 (The top, not the airer.)/
With delviery etc the two together were less then £100 I think. Cannot remember exactly.
The packing is done. I took DGD to see her Mum this afternoon and did a shop for the things I need to get us through today, and the bits for the holiday. Suncream, shampoo, travel wash etc etc. Soon spent £48!!! eek. having not been out to the supermarkets for ages, I actually felt bewildered by the whole episode.
DGD is playing in the sink again! She is water mad.
Today she had her first shower at home. Now she is asking for another one. Will we have a convert from the bath? Well probably not, as she loves playing with the ducks etc. We will see, but it will be a lot easier to wash her hair in future.
She is moving on in leaps and bounds.
I was a little naughty and bought a bottle of wine, and am going to have a glass in a minute. I know its early, but as I am probably going to be in bed by around 8ish, then I am sure its not too bad.
I am getting really relieved that the holiday is practically here.
The euro's are bought. the bags nearly packed. Only things that are left are the smellies, junk jewellry, and tablets. And any toys that will fit in for DGD!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning,
Been watching the video of the grinch! I know not Christmas, but DGD has decided to watch it and I have never actually sat and watched it before. So we have been sitting on the sitting room floor, playing with the bricks, and watching TV. So nothing is done this morning so far.
We go to the BF's today, and so everything needs to be done by today as we are not coming back until after the holiday. Getting excited now, DGD is. She is on about the Dolphins. So another trip to the zoomarine is on the cards. Its 25 Euros each this year.! Best take a packed lunch that day.
Time to get on. Catch up later, when I get 5 minutes. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Enjoy your holidays, when do you get back? 17 weeks to Christmas from today!
I must look into the cost of purchasing a washing line and cover in the size I would like.0 -
Happy holidays to you & DGD Mooloo, I hope the sun shines on you each day and you have a relaxing break.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

I have packed as much as I can, and far too much more! Time to load up the car, and go.
Thanks for the well wishes, we will do our best to have a good holiday.! (Well who wouldnt?).
DGD is accident prone today, she has trapped her finger in the bathroom door. Then she has some how managed to fall off the loo and hurt her ear? Stubbed her toes too! What next.
Its raining now. So the thought of a sunny beach will be great.
Due back on the 8th September. Will be very strange without the computer and all my daily chats with everyone.
Especially my contact with Molly and her family.
Bye for now, doubt I will be back on the computer before I go now. We go Tuesday morning.

Have a lovely time both of you and will miss you too xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hope you have a great time Mooloo and DGD. xx0
