Well the Social Worker has been. All is OK there.
I have been trying to sort out the Independant Living Allowance payments to the PAYE. They are now trying to find out whats happening, as the PAYE are now asking for £219 instead of the £13.60 we originally paid.! grrrr. At least the funds for that are in a seperate account and its there.

I have had to book the car in for its MOT tomorrow. Another £49 at least. It runs out on the 6th while I am away, so my car wouldnt be legal. Thats something I really dont need.
Something tells me, my life is set to conspire against me somewhat. Although on a good note, I have been intouch with the Housing Association and they said I was still in Credit at the moment with them. Bonus. (Except the changes will take effect on the next Payment day which is next Tuesday). Anyway, I paid them £50 as I am away next week, I would rather pay towards the difference before I go, and then I know what spending I will have left for the holiday.
Which is depleating as fast as I am trying to save it!!!
Oh well thats the way the cards are falling for me at the moment. At least being as MSE as we are here, I am on top of all of these things and know where I am before I end up in a mess.
This afternoon the housing officer is coming around and wants proof of my living here. What a waste of time when she was here only in June/July?
    over the back garden. Madness.
At least she can see whats happened out there, if she will venture out in the rain. It seems to rain everytime that she is due to come and see us.

I spoke to DS today. His exam certificate for his english arrived. At least he got that. His friend is coming out of prison tomorrow! Oh nuts! He didnt do the year he was given. Out on Tag or something. It worries me. I had hoped that if he had served his time, by the time 12 months had gone by DS would have moved on and built up a better and safer life. Lets hope the young man has learnt his lesson and will be a changed man! But I do fear that he will slip back in his old ways far too soon, especially as his family all drink a lot and his brother definitely still does cannabis etc! Its so scarey.
    I will not think dispondently.
I will be positive and leave the worrying until I need to.
    Lunchtime I think.

Well the housing officer was late, but she has been, all is ok. She will have to do one more visit over the next few months of my tenancy apparantly.
I have been to collect twin1. She is now here with us and sitting with DGD. They were playing bricks but DGD decided to have a tantrum and boy what a tantrum. I have been hit and kicked kind of tantrum. I put her out on the naughty step. She screamed until her throat is sore! She kicked and hit the door, she through all the bits down tthe stair. When she was supposed to have calmed down, she came back in the room and tore up her tissue and threw all the bits in a fury, along with the start of the screaming. She was about to be put back on the naughty step, when she appologies to her mum asked for a hug, and they are now cuddled up together. But I have removed the bricks, and turned off her scoobydoo.

I am having terrible trouble with my arm, driving did me no favours, and picking her up to remove her while kicking and screaming added to it.
I am about to go and take my painkillers a bit early.! Heat pad is on, and I am trying to not let things get to me. I was happy to have not lost my temper even a little bit, and to keep calm and consistant. (result as its not easy).

Doing a couple of Lasagne's that were in the freezer for tea. Quick and easy! We just take a slice out of each for dGD.

Tomorrow must be a better day! (Fingers crossed the car passes its MOT or I will be in trouble!).

Well the car passed its MOT thankgoodness, so only just over £50 as the number plate bulb needed replacing.
Biggest of Mooloo rang, and I went to hers for a chat and lunch, as she lives just a few miles from the garage I was at.
BT are charging me between £89.32 and £119.32 for getting out of the contract.. I was thinking about not switching, but even after the fee, I am still much better off. So I am going to go ahead with the move.
But not thrilled that I hadnt realised there was a cancellation fee. Thats the problem with making deals over the phone, and not really taking much notice of what is verbal for them.
I was rather upset to start with, but it just made me mad in the end, and as BT's only offer of helping me would be to reduce things by cutting my broadband download allowance, and reducing my bill by £5 a month, and then tying me into another 12 month contract I thought NO.

I have a headache and will be having yet another early night if I can. My arm is very bad, and I cannot move it much without excrutiating pain.! Teach me to do the lawnmowing myself.

Twin1 has roughly sorted out DGD's clothes ready for the holiday for me, and so it will be a little easier for me. But I am not looking forward to trying to deal with DGD and suitcases if my arm is as it is.

Aim to have a quiet evening thats for sure. Battles can commence again tomorrow.!

Speak to sky about the cancellation fee. I know a few years ago they we're willing to pay the bt connection fee once you sent them your bank statement with the payment showing. They may well do the same for cancellation fees :)

Thanks, I have tried that, but the guy asked, and came back empty handed. Said my only option was to cancel sky or pay BT.
Anyway i have decided that in the long run I will move anyway.
Today my monthly BT bill is due to leave my bank account. Once its gone, I will cancel the DD then they will have to bill me, and they can wait until I have enough. They can't have what I dont have can they.?

Its a rediculous time in the middle of the night/morning.
I cannot sleep. Cannot yet take any more medication and the pain is keeping me up, along with my brain being in overdrive about all the thiings I should be doing/could be doing/want to do before I go away. But my body will not allow.
    Frustration.
I have come downstairs, made a cup of tea, and decided to stop trying to sleep for a little bit. See if I can go back in a while. Its not what I like to do, as I know my days with DGD are long enough anyway, but at least tomorrow afternoon she is in nursery and I will be able to rest if necessary. Seeing as I am not really able to do that much else.
I may go and try and read my book, but i am not comfy sitting up in bed much. Oh well thats the story of my life really. :o

BF came over for about an hour, to collect his daughters laptop that was delivered here. he was on his way back from doing a works community project, some sort of sensory garden for a local school (to his works), somewhere up the other side of gaydon. He had a sandwich with me and then was back on his way. He looked quite tired, and brown/red/ suntanned!. He wont take long to tan next week, hes already very tanned, or is that weather beaten?
Although its my weekend to have gone to his, as we are off on Tuesday, I will not be going down so early as he will be busy sorting stuff out for his packing etc, and his daughter needs stuff for Uni the weekend we get back, so I and DGD are best out of the way.
Although I was thinking that we could go to Cowley centre to pick up some new shoes for DGD as hers are suddenly too small. Its always the way. Maybe I will go on Monday. Her beloved Dora the Explorer crocks are suddenly giving her blisters? seems odd as she has been hardly out of them all summer, but the button on the inside of the foot has left her with nasty blisters on Monday. So she cannot wear them or any others at the moment. Trying to keep her plaster on and socks on is a nightmare. She will keep taking them off looking to see if they have healed yet. Try explaining to a 3 year old that it takes longer then 10 minutes for them to heal is difficult.:D

Seems to have been a hell of a long day. Managed to pack DGD's bag, dispite my arm is still not good. I have got my euro's for the holiday and now I am feeling more in holiday mode. Dispite not sorting out my clothes properly.
DGD was in Nursery this afternoon, about to go and collect her, and I have tried to relax and had a read in the garden on my garden swing.
Then I came in and sorted out a price list for the Nursery for the bags etc that they have an interest in.

I have not been able to sew so far this week. The arm is not good enough. I am hoping that i may get a chance before I go, but to those of you who are waiting things, I will be back on the case soon. I want them to be up to my high standards.

The black sky is looming, so I am glad that the washing line has its cover, incase it starts to rain while I am out.

You will laugh, my ex husband, grandad to DGD actually rang today and asked if he could have her for the weekend next weekend! The man hasnt seen her in over 3 months, and the one weekend he is thinking of giving me a relief we are off on holiday.
Apparantly dispite him being just back off holiday, he has another holiday coming up in September, so heaven knows when he will actually manage to see her. Oh well, at least he and his wife are wanting DGD. So thats a real hope for the future. It would be lovely if he would take more of an interest and see her more.

Morning, at last there is some improvement in my arm. Which is just as well, as we are off to see the Boys today. ! Its been a long time since we last saw them, 21st July.! For DGD its been a lot longer. She didnt come the last two times as we thought that they were to be our last visits and Mum was to upset. But as we now have September and October visits on the cards, and it would not be easy to hide the fact I was going, I have decided to take her. (she does still ask about "her boys" after all).
So its time to get dressed and get a move on. Visiting is in a different place so we need to be there on time, they dont let us be late after all.

Lets hope the driving doesnt impact too much on the arm! I still have loads to do, and sewing to catch up on.!

Well we found the new place to meet the Boys. Had a lovely little meet. But its never long enough, or of course often enough. Luckily we get on well with the foster mother, so we had a good natter and she fills us in on the things that the boys are up to. DGS2 is also now in Nursery, so thats good for him, and gives her some time now. Doesnt appear to be a family on the horizon for the adoption yet.
Took the travel cot to Biggest of Mooloo on the way back. Baby Lucy is well, but still struggling to accept a bottle, still prefers Mum.
My suitcase has just arrived from Argos. So I can start to pack my stuff now.
    DGD is polishing.
DS has just rung to tell me he is in Brackley so he is popping in to see us. To see if he has anything to collect.
the only trouble is he is with the lad thats just got out of prison! But I want to see my son, so I have to bite my tongue and just let it pass.

Mooloo - is there any way that you can "hide" your packing whilst DS + friend are there? So that they do not know that the house will be unoccupied for a week????

Alas, DS was here as I was writing, so no chance. But thank goodness they didnt stop. DS took his certificate, stopped about 2 minutes talking and then they were gone.
I have to do my packing today. Will need to iron it, yuk, I hate ironing. But I cannot be all creased!
