Decided as I was having a meat delivery on Tuesday, I would try out the fruit and veg box deliveries. See if I can use more organic stuff. Although I am aware of the fact that I have to still get my budget back under control. However I think that if I am careful and menu plan with the things I have that I will succeed. Well I have no choice really I have to succeed.
DGD is having her second bath of the day. She is playing with her toys. Been topping the water up to keep it warm as she has been in there about an hour now! Water baby continues then.
Wish we could afford the swimming pool!!
Is anywhere near you doing the Free Schwim thing, Mooloo? Mind you all my local pools have just cut back on the times, and they're not very convenient any more!

Hi, I will be starting to make some christmas stuff soon. Should have started before, but time has slipped away with me a bit.
I will keep you intouch with what I turn up. My embroidery skills are limited, and I dont have an embroidery machine. Several thousand pounds for them, but I am not too bad at the applique. So I will certainly consider the stockings and sacks.
Along with the bunting, being more towards christmas, and of course I have a garland I want to make.:D

BF has decided that he will call in on his way back from Leeds tonight. So bonus. If I can stay awake as he has only just left there!.

Well its back to the Normal today. DGD is throwing a wobbly again. While away there were not very many as she knows that BF will not tolerate them.
But for me, this is a scene I could well do without so early in the morning.
After she is at Nursery, then I will start to sort out my workroom, and get ready for my makes.
I only have a few hours this morning, but after tomorrow it will be around 5-6 hours a day, Mon to Thurs. Of course minus all the appointments that I cannot get out of etc. But future things I will try and do after 3pm.
The yukky weather has already started to attack my bones!
The tablets are taken, the tea is drunk, now its time for the breakfast, Nursery and all the rest of the day.
I need to contact the Physio, the council about that change,(again) and of course the Social Services. Still not received the contact costs that I invoiced in July! Getting really fed up of chasing funds again.
But looks like this is the cycle of my life. Continue to fight for the rights etc etc.
DS is in need of some funds. So I am going to make him come home and do some gardening for me for it. He is not getting anything for nothing.! He needs to pay £20 rent to the family from hell that he is still staying with. He didnt get any work this week in the Pub, as the pub is quiet.
He went to sign on but they havent sorted out any funds yet. I shall have to see if he has thought of getting a crisis loan, but I have only had a message on Facebook, so I dont quite know what is happening with him. He has been given a training regime from the Army, he has to be able to run a mile and a half in 30 minutes without stopping. or something like that. So he will have to stop smoking and drinking and start running I think.!
Time to get on and get back to life again.!

Thanks Sue, missed your post until now.
There is a basic pool about half a mile from here, who are participating, but the times are rather inconvenient, 7am-9am. My body is not quite moving at that time, but I will see about the Thursday afternoons, they are also available. May be able to get Molly's daughter to help take her. think its free for kids anyway, so its just the adults. Thanks so much for pointing me in this direction.! Never heard of it, but then I dont tend to buy many bottle drinks or go into the supermarkets much.!:D

My arm is messing me around, and although I tried to sew today, I had to stop after about an hour at the most. The arm is so bad, the pain levels are very high, so I may have t go back to the doctors. I hope that I can rest for the rest of the day, and we will see if I am any better tomorrow. My Dad collected and brought over Twin1 to see DGD.
Basic Mince and pasta for tea tonight, so that Twin1 can actually prepare a lot of it.
Have done another delivery from Approved Foods to come soon with all the biscuit and cake kind of things, and flour etc. Mind you that sort of offsets the organic bits and pieces from my veg and meat deliveries? Oops.
Time for me to rest again.

Is there a relationship between the angle of your head when you use the sewing machine, hand sew, drive, use laptop and the subsenquent pain?
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

There must be. But why it is different now from before I am not sure. I have tried staying off of these things and I must admit its easier, but it didnt bother me for months before? So why its again I do not know.
I shall have to back off again anyway. So that it recovers and keep an eye on the position of my head. I also think that its the position of my arm too. As the muscles ache as if I have been weight lifting and I am beginning to struggle to keep my left arm straight for very long!. Oh well, time to rest.

Have you seen the physio yet? I know you were having difficulty in getting a referral, but isn't there a doctor at your new practice that you felt really listened to you and spent more than the average 7 minutes with you?
A physio will give you exercises to do, check the angle of the back of your car seat and advise on posture and the best position for laptop and sewing. It really would be sensible to get as much sorted out as soon as you can if you think things have deteriorated from, say, this time last year so an attempt can be made to slow down the deterioration and stabilise things. It seems significant that you had no problems on holiday when you were away from driving, sewing, laptop.
I don't enjoy balancing my laptop on a couple of cushions, but I enjoy the pain in my neck and arm and the loss of feeling in my fingers even less.

It was a colleague put me onto it, after I'd been sent to Hydrotherapy and they were encouraging me to go to the pool in between sessions. They've changed the times here just recently, and they're not nearly as widely available as they were, which is a pain, so I've joined a gym on a special offer. I find waving my arm around in the water makes a BIG difference!

Ah, now, hydrotherapy, if you can get physio and they'll refer you to hydro, bite their hand off!
