A big in yesterday, a wormery! But hopefully it'll help with the outs as it'll take care of some of the food stuff we can't compost, things like the contents of the dyson, hair from my hair brush & shredded paper (which we currently have several bags of in the garage!) so it's hopefully going to reduce the clutter a bit and also help our environmental impact as well as give us nice compost and worm juice!
Otherwise just plodding on with general things - current challenge is not to get a build up of post anywhere, we're normally pretty good at dealing with it, then we get a few days we don't as we know what it is and it builds up again.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I shan't be doing anything today because I'm too tired. I'm just having my breakfast and then have to start cooking tea pretty much straight away
It was a one off night last night and they are always the worst and the hardest to get over. I have tomorrow at home to myself and I am hoping to be able to get the new window frame fitted to the downstairs loo wall. Then I am able to get on and make the blind for in there which will declutter some fabric and gain me a blind
. If I can persuade DH into the loft, I might also get him to get down the tile cutter so that I can make a start on tiling the utility room tomorrow. I've sugar soaped the whole room ready to go so just need to pull my finger out and get on with it. The sooner it's tiled, the sooner I can paint it after all. At present I have lots of paint tins in my downstairs loo so I aim to get them stuck to the wall rather than under my feet.
I need to have a little bit of a go at some washing too tomorrow but I'm not sure if I actually have any full loads of anything to put on yet. I might see tonight and shove some on and through the TD (I know, I know but it's a time issue too). Perhaps I'll heck the forecast and just hang it out for the night? It gets it done and out of the way
Someone was saying they have got rid of a mattress topper. You have inspired me to get rid of DS's mattress protector which I melted in December having only had it a few weeks. It has been hanging on the bannister ever since. Don't want to tempt fate but *whispers* no accidents since *fingers crossed*.
Right, that's it, out and into the bin. One less thing over the bannisters. I'll see if I can remember to bring the towel down that I no longer see.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Oooh, how exciting, are you getting chickens? Don't let their eggs become clutter, send them my way
.
Right, I shamed myself into moving earlier and have since done 2 loads of washing, cut and sewn another block for my quilt. Put away the fabric from that block and got out the fabric for the next block which I will cut before I go to bed tonight. I aim to get at least 1 block done tomorrow.
I would also like to get the window framed tomorrow. If I can, then I can get started on the blind on Saturday. DD has an inset day on Friday so she and I can start tiling. She's tall enough to reach over the worktop and as far back as the wall so it's about time she got started on learning basic DIY skills. She's 9 and I think that she's old enough to be more aware of the dangers of equipment and what better way to learn these things than by watching them in use and sticking tiles on walls? If she's not interested then we'll do something else obviously but I think she'll actually enjoy herself somewhat because the pair of us should be able to near enough hammer our way through it in one day.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
I've got bids on 7 of my ebay items (including one large item, yay), plus watchers on 7 other things, some ending tonight, some tomorrow night so fingers crossed a few more sell then that's more things out of the house and some pennies in.
Tuesday morning I cleared the big pile of ironing, meal in slow cooker, all the washing up done, washing on and pegged out, went through some paperwork again and managed to clear a bit out - and all that by the time I picked DD2 up from Pre-School at 12
Wednesday - feeling a bit urgh so didn't do much but did declutter my email inbox, got through a load of surveys and managed to order 2 £10 vouchers and £5 cash from 3 different survey companies
Today: Still feeling urgh so again not really done much this morning.
ExH emailed (rolls eyes) me yesterday to ask if he could have the girls from Sat afternoon until Tuesday so it looks like me and OH will be able to get on with loads of things, including lots of decluttering!Extra savings aim for 2020 £4,000 £0/£4,000
