Looking forward to seeing you over there, Horse. Planning some decluttering for the weekend, friend is popping over to help me as I've just had the entire central heating system replaced, things are a bit dusty.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I actually managed to empty two boxes that were lurking in my sittingroom since we moved in at Christmas! Alas there are still two boxes with things that will not either fit into the smaller kitchen, or are materials for the sewing which doesnt have a designated area properly yet.!
I have to pack for holiday today, so perhaps I will clear a few clothes out at the same time! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I actually managed to empty two boxes that were lurking in my sittingroom since we moved in at Christmas!
Morning all!
Well I know I have not been posting but I have been busy.
Spent what felt like three days in my top attic (it nearly was as I dropped the cover, luckily DD3 was about) - I hoard stuff ,as in "just in case" so what on earth I was thinking why I needed to keep clothes for my DD2 & 3 for age 7 (now teenagers) plus empty boxes for vacuum cleaners and kettles that I had the time before, the time before the ones I have now goodness knows:o.
So two trips to the tip- a lot stuff spoiled due to Mrs Mouse et family moving in over winter - One huge trip to a local charity shop nearer to me than town ones which I didn't know was there - Kids videos, books, clothes, some of my clothes, and excess Xmas decs too.
Then I re insulated the loft with the rolls of insulation that have been sat on my landing since last August (not very money savy really I know)- and left it empty(sorry Mrs Mouse)
Bought some cheap stacking boxes - sorted out toys books,"memories" I wanted to keep....Back into bottom loft did exact same thing as above - couple of loft boards down that Dad gave me and put all stuff to keep back away in one place!
Under stairs cupboard(this only has a hatch and I am only one who can squeeze into it!)- dragged it all out - binned& recycled most of it. So now under stairs has just Xmas decs and some camping stuff!
Yesterday sorted out DD3 CD's, DVD's (mostly DD1's so not her thing and why on earth still in her room,no idea) So dragged bookcase onto landing next to one already there and making it into family CD and DVD area - although won't be going as far as putting them in alphabetical order.....But on the other hand:think:
So all in all de cluttering going great but still no DD2 passport:cool:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

5 ebay parcels went yesterday and 2 letters.
I also decluttered my car!!!0 -
everyday for a year I have been promising to sort my garage out when 'its sunny'.
Well I've finally gotten round to it and everythings been eaten by mice!!!!!
its really putting me off decluttering the rest in case a mouse drops out!
eurghhh I've got the eeby jeebies now!0 -
In
Hanging storage for wardrobe from sister (will see if it's worth sacrificing some hanging space so I can put foldable items in this and free up airing cupboard and drawer space...)
Two polo sticks from sister (will see if we can sell them)
Out
Bag of clothes to charity shop
Cardigan, scarf and lipbalm to sister
Tube of face mask thrown away (found lurking in back of bathroom cabinet and think it was at least five years old!)
Grass clippings and weeds (my lovely Mum helped me with the garden yesterday afternoon as was starting to get overgrown - still need to finish off the border and get started on the terribly overgrown rockery.)
Pending Out
Went to hang out the washing and the rotary airer is broken on three sides! OH has temporarily fixed it with parcel tape, so this will be taken to the tip as soon as I get a proper washing line installed!MsHalffull wrote: »I need a mini - challenge for the weekend so I don't lose my momentum :j - any about? I'm thinking 10 or 20 things - what do you reckon?
I'll go for a mini challenge of 20 things out this weekend, anyone else pledging?0
