Today I have been doing my best to declutter the kitchen of all that chocolate we seem to have acquired!
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!
  • I can now see one side of my kitchen worktops :j

Been ruthless in the chocolate cupboard and have thrown away some out of date stuff. I know some people will never believe I let chocolate go out of date, never have that problem with wine :D

Happy New Year to all my fellow declutterers
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • Not really done any decluttering today but planning to do some tomorrow. Not really doing much tonight as NYE always tends to be a let down unless spent with my family and they are 200 miles away!

Hope everyone enjoys their evening whatever you are doing x
  • Managed to take xmas decs down today, ready to be put into loft tomorrow. Recycled quality street tin, made a hole in the top and glued lid on to make a sealed pot for all my loose change to be opened just before xmas next year.

So much decluttering to do I really don't know where to start.

Is there room for another little one? :D

I did quite a bit of decluttering last year but there's still plenty to do ! I'm hoping this thread will keep me motivated and encourage me not to give up half way through the year.

I've sorted out some old clothes today (I had to as I'd bought new ones :o - justified as I've lost weight lately :j) and I'm currently in the process of getting rid of a bottle of wine or two (hic!)

We have guests tomorrow so they'll help get rid of some of the various chocs/biccies (and it'll stop me from eating them ! :p)

Will start in earnest once the kiddies go back to school ........ have a wonderful New Year ! xx

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Didn't get rid of anything but tidied up a couple of rooms today, started on my tip of a bedroom but then hubby came back from asda with 20 reduced rolls of wrap paper, crackers and packs of cards which will probably last us for about three years lol, all dumped in our bedrm now as nowhere else to put it!! Will start decluttering in earnest when kiddies back at school nxt wednesday, can't seem to get on with things when they are all around! Night night x

Morning everyone . I'm joining to give myself a kick up the backside. We've been in this house for eight years, and my carp is all over the place. DH is going to help me sort it out once and for all. We're using today and tomorrow to make a concerted effort. We got rid of nine bags to the charity bins in the week, and I'd like to do the same today. I'll ask DH to keep track of how many items I get rid of, and see if I can reach my century by the time we finish up.
