Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who takes time to post Special Offers they see on here.
I think it's always good to "share" a bargain you spot, especially when it means you may help someone to save some money
:hello: Hello and welcome *Spike* & NoAngel, and any other newcomers I may have missed.
Am loving the mental image of itsybitsygoth wandering around town on a night out carrying a thyme plant :rotfl:
Buddiebabe love all your bargains! and well done wssla0 on deleting your online shop :T
I do really think that sometimes it's more or a "habit" why we shop, rather than necessity. That's my theory anyway, which will probably come back and bite me in the backside later this month (it did last time I tried)but I'm going to try for 1 online shop this month.
It will mean that I will have to shop most days, as I'm only able to buy what I can carry on foot in a backpack and two hands, and I find when I miss a day, my bags are very heavy the next time I shop - especially if I need things like potatoes and milk. Anyway, I'm going to see how it goes - and the 1½mile round trip will be good exercise for me.

Afternoon all!
£2.00 spend today on biccies for elevenses
Been very organised today and made my chicken stock, cooked a curry with the leftover chicken and the veggie soup is on the simmer as I type! Should be enough for at least three meals I reckon
I opened a carton of passata today to use in the curry, didn't need all of it so froze the rest. I assume this is OK? There was nothing on the carton to say yay or nay on freezing, so took a chance as didn't want to waste it...

Afternoon everyone and a BIG THANKYOU TO BELLA 121984 - AFTER CHECKING MY TESCO.COM RECEIPT I FOUND I HAD BEEN CHARGED £10.21 FOR THE SURF SMALL AND MIGHTY TOO! So I've made a call and will be getting a refund.:j
Tonight we are having a pork stirfry using some pork I bought in the co-op on New years eve that had been reduced to 75p! I've also been cooking a goulasch in the slow cooker for tomorrow's meal. We have an opticians appointment straight after school so at least it will be ready to eat when we get home and there'll be no temptation to get a take-away.
It's been a NSD here as I've been cleaning and tidying the house.
Have a good week everyone.Mortgage Free in 3 part 2 challenge - pay off £9000

I haven't added up my receipts yet so will update spends later but i doubt i've even spent £20. Also ex-OH bought round a load of bread, milk, ham and fruit etc so hoping this week i won't need hardly anything!!If music be the food of love then play on"No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow". ღ ~Maya AngelouDoing it for my kids.
