I guess I'm lucky looking at the above posts. My DH insists an doing all the washing at 30 degree(but he won't use my eco balls or soapnuts)
He hangs it out on the line and gets it in and uses the dryer minimally as we have 3 airers in the garage.
The dishwasher is only used about 3 times a week if dd or myself put it on-he insists on washing up.
He wont go shopping--hates it so I do the shopping and buy very wisely.
Sometimes I don't like any of the above mind you-but it does work!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
First shop of the year. It was interesting how differently I approached it. Stuck religiously to shopping list and menu plan. Changed a few brands to MrT's own or other budget brand. Will see if OH notices a difference.
NSD's 9. But that's a bit of a cheat as everything we spent on holiday was out of the holiday budget. Rather a lot of wine consumed to drown out pain - OH has 2 broken ribs and gave himself concussion. I got hit by a button lift and then fell putting a ski pole through my mask. Lovely black eye!GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -

He isnt right yet although back at home. Think we will be visiting his G.P. in the next day or two. Thank you for asking. :kisses3:
Had a small spend today on 2 packs of toilet rolls £1.99 each and also got a loaf so hopefully will not need to go shops tomorrow.
All together £5.17 spent. Still well under budget but all the same its creeping up.
Shoe horned the last of the sprouts into the freezer today and also the mascarpone cheese. Didnt use any in the end as also had a tub of extra thick jersey cream in that was a day or two over its date so I got some pastry out of the freezer which I had made a month or two ago, filled it with some peaches and quick jel and served it with a dollop of the cream. The others said it was really nice but I am not a huge fan of sweet things and only like certain ones, Jam roly poly, fruit cake, egg custard ohhh yes please but fruit flan no thanks, Also sent mum home with another portion and a couple of slices of the turkey that was left. Probably use the rest tomorrow for tea and if not it will be used Tuesday. All of todays meals except breakfast was done using stuff that was either brought for christmas or before. :TMARCH £62.38/2500 -
So for me - £215 left from my £280 budget fr this month.

Need to get some shopping in tomorrow, but if Im 100% honest, there are still a few bits in the cupboard that we could get away with a coupl of days not doing.
