Need to ask big favour from one of you clever folk.
Foster daughter is expecting baby in October.......wants to wait and see if its boy or girl and be surprised.
She's done the nursery out all jungle themed and an ideal pressie for new baby would be a sock monkey for her. I was going to have a go but what with OH being ill and my brain elsewhere I can't concentrate on anything craft like.
Could some kind person make one for me ? A little one if poss. Hate to ask but happy to pay for it and be really grateful.
    :)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mary - I will make you one. Just let me know what you want.

These are the ones I have made and are for sale

This is 7" and made from a baby sock with felt eyes for a baby.
The back has little feet on it.

Do you paint the writing free hand?

Do you use paint or some kind of marker pen?

I hope you don't mind me asking?

Sorry it has took me a while to respond but havent had chance to visit this site for a few weeks. All the writing is just my freehand writing. I use gel pens to write with (fine liners tend to run). Of course I don't mind you asking. A good site for wooden blanks is https://www.daisymoondesigns.co.uk .
Good luck and post some pics :D

i like crayola spider pens to write with as well they give a nice finish and come in many colours . they dry like plastic , glitz 3d or dylon 3d fabric paints have a huge selection of colours and affects and are not very expensive and go a long long way
both dylon and glitz 3d fabric pens can write on any surface and both give a permanent plastic finish
