I've started thinking about Easter (oh dear)

I have 1 niece and 2 nephews so I'm thinking of making up Easter hampers, as a nice, cheep (pun intended) change

buying bags of mini eggs and making them into smaller bags

knitting some chickens to cover cream eggs

    Baking a few Easter biscuits

Do you ahve a link to the pattern for the wee chicks? I think that's a great idea and wouldn't mind stealing it please! :D:o;)

Dead simple - takes about 2 hours and just over 20g of wool.

how easy is easy? if I was to learn to knit would I be able to make one or is the pattern complicated to follow?

  • Ive posted this on The Sewing Forum so thought Id post here too as its handmade and all that. Its a tutorial for a reversible fabric gift box and looks quite good. Bit of a different way to give a gift and you can always change the template size depending on your gift. You will need a sewing machine though. x
