you really are doing well with those. I think the buttons are fab!

    Are they easy tomake?

Dead simple - takes about 2 hours and just over 20g of wool.
    Simple but effective I think.
Got the buttons from The Works.

PM me your email address if you want the pattern

I've started thinking about Easter (oh dear)

I have 1 niece and 2 nephews so I'm thinking of making up Easter hampers, as a nice, cheep (pun intended) change

buying bags of mini eggs and making them into smaller bags

knitting some chickens to cover cream eggs

    Baking a few Easter biscuits

Sounds like a good idea Chanie, have a look in poundland soon, they did little chicks and notepads with pens all easter themed. Im going to do that, I only have one niece to get for, and some of my friends kids. Thinking of making up a mixed hamper.

Thanks Cuddles for the pattern, just nipping upstairs for some needles and then I'm going to have a go. Been into The Works where I live and they don't have those buttons, which is a shame as their not bad value.

hi everyone i wanted to share what im working on for my mums birthday, im sorry couldnt get pics up so please use links, my mum has always been a dressmaker and although now retired she still enjoys making for herself so i have made her a sewing box , made from a key box i bought from a charity shop, i have made it vintage shabby chic style with a large padded pin cushion lid (with gorgious cupcake fabric. http://www.flickr.com/photos/clairsminis/5357947602/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/clairsminis/5357948420/

i have also painted her a picture with acrylic paints on canvas, again done in a vintage style, ive glue a button, sewing needle and thread to it here take a look http://www.flickr.com/photos/clairsminis/5357331241/

OMG your sewing box is amazing and I am heartily jealous of your skills...well done you!!:T
