Fab ideas ladies, keep them coming. Cuddles - do you have any instructions on making the roll for scissors please?

    Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

I just adapted the Crayon Roll Tutorial

The same for the knitting needle case.

Brilliant! that is now so easy to make, I looked at other tutorials and just didnt get it! I felt lost in a sea of material and stitches. Where do I get the fusible interfacing from?

I made some pickled grannies for my grans 80th birthday and some pickled bums for my sister for xmas. Used to be really popular at craft fairs so I had a go at making some myself to bring back old memories (which they did) Piccies on my blog <<<<<<<<

Little Miss Moneysaver - a morse bag is always a good place to start if you are learning and wants something simple yet functional. Crayon rolls are also popular with beginners.

Esmer - Like Cuddles I get mine through ebay as well. You can buy it in sewing shops but its cheaper on ebay. Just make sure you get the right weight.

Great thread btw. I did a completely handmade Xmas this year and everyone loved it. Much more personal and I also enjoy giving handmade things more than I do something out of a shop anyway so its a win - win. Hope to get some great ideas from you all throughout the year. x

Ladies have you checked the Very and Littlewood sales for curtains and bedding.I got some curtains for £3.00.
Dont see them as what they are being sold.See them as what you would pay in material. And go through cashback site and get an extra 8% off .A lot cheaper than material off roll.xx
