I found the orange one is slightly pale, as per the pic, but i think they must add something that doesn't dissolve into the vodka like the others?!

But my purple one is purple, very purple, so maybe it is a lack of sweets thats thinned the colour to red?

Thanks... I've added some more skittles (luckly I bought plenty!) I'll see what it looks like when they've disolved!

sister in law backs christmas cutters with card. She then puts red and green M&Ms in them and then seals the top with cellophane. She also adds ribbon loop to the top so they can hang on the tree. She lives in America so easier to get red/green sweets but Morrisons are selling the red/green M&Ms now for christmas

Thank you for the Skittles Vodka advice. I have made mine today and so far, so good.

I am also planning to try Gingerbread Vodka, but have no idea how it will work, lol. I will report back though.

Logically, if made the same way, you will either have a plain vodka of a tinged (sp?) colour or a very nice flavoured vodka :T as the filtering will take any of the 'bits' out if they do not full disintergrate

Hi All
I've just finished making 2011 christmas presents for 8 children, I made aprons and matching hairbands/scrunchies and given them a cookery book each for the girls. I knitted jumpers and matching hats for the boys. So far I've only spent £20 on the children. I'm already with ideas for christmas 2012, its going to be a lot of Papier Mache items,games and baskets etc.

I wish I could get as motivated as you lot. You would think just knowing there are only 12 more crafting days til Christmas would get me moving, but Oh No, quite the opposite!!!
