I looked for the Bling Tone nail varnishes in Boots today but I couldn't see any. I did, however, get a No 7 fast finish with my five pounds off voucher. I also bought some other bits which gave me another voucher but I didn't want to use it as it was 20 minutes before closing time so they taken off all of the tills apart from one self-service, and the assistant cashing up the other self services was getting in the way of that one.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

if you can't find them you could always order them online and get them delivered free to your local branch of bootsLead us not into temptation...

Does anyone use a nail treatment to make them stronger, longer, stop peeling etc? I use OPI's Nail Envy and Pro-Strong's fluoride/calcium treatments and my nails are in reasonable nick, but I'd like to get them even stronger if poss. I've looked at the Sally Hansen range but I'm confused with all the choices.
Also I bought one of those buffer/shine blocks but I have no idea if it's worth doing - what are the benefits ?
Thanks

Hi, are you Eric's Mum from ST.Com? I've found that using the Leighton Denny crystal file has really strengthened my nails.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. This is one of my favourites and I have a back up bottle in case LD decides to discontinue it though he probably won't because there would be a public outcry from QVC customers. This was originally part of TSV which I didn't buy because this colour was the only thing in the kit I wanted. I put a Wanted ad on another forum and a lovely lady sent it to me for free.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. That's a lovely colour. I'm bidding for Nails Inc's Jermyn Street at the moment which looks similar. If I don't get it I'll look for this instead.
Hi Eric's Mum, Jermyn Street is a bit darker than Supermodel and has more of a creme finish rather than shimmery like Supermodel. I'd say Jermyn Street is very similar to OPI You Don't Know Jacques. Forgive me, I am such a nail polish anorak!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Nearly forgot to post about my favourites. Love OPI polishes. Every time a new collection is released I promise myself I won't buy anymore and then end up looking at swatches and convincing myself I must own one or two.
My favourite OPI colours are Black Cherry Chutney and Mad as a Hatter (although I'm gutted that I only have the mini size of this one).
As mentioned above I like Leighton Denny polishes too and find they all have a great gloss to them.
Nails Inc are not a favourite though. To be fair the only ones I own are those that have been given away as freebies on magazines. Find the colours are not very glossy.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Yes, hello! I have the same user name for all my forums, because I've got a terrible memory. I use different IDs on all the other sites I use but I get into such a mess with them !!
Funnily enough my sister bought me a LD crystal file but I've not used it yet - I must find it and throw away my emery boards. Thanks for the tip.

Well it helped me! I popped into my local superdrug yesterday and picked up a bottle of base coat and two of holographic all at half price! I am well pleased! Thanks!
