Agreed, Plus the walk book (that had 100 addresses in) were often out of date

I know I have been annoyed by door to door salesmen but this puts things in a different light. It'S not an easy job.

Suppose life is a lot easier when you don't have much of a personality and just act passive the whole time!

Interesting; do you really think that having a personality = shouting and swearing at someone?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Did you go out with the "Leader", "Crew leader" "Assistant Owner" or honoured with the "Owner"?

Basically its a 10 hour day for little or no pay.

Also Skye Marketing is part of the Apco/Cobra Group

I went out with the junior manager & his team.I was interviewed by the owner & offered the job when we got back, which I declined later as it wasn't a finacially viable job imho.

I guess people would need to have nerves of steel to be able to do that on a daily basis-90 doors. Not to mention, the usual abuse they get from people who then come on to this forum to complain about them !

It's 90 doors x 3 less those that answered, slammed to door or told you to f.o!

Mccudly-are you saying people would work for ten hours and not get a dime unless they made a sale. That almost seems like slave labour...

That's about it.You have to sell to earn the money. And the hours are long, from 12pm to 9pm, plus travelling time.

When I went out with them, they didn't have a walk book, they just picked a street or three & started knocking.Tell you what tho,my feet were killing me when I got home.

AND,quite often the people knocking the doors don't know too much about the product they are selling apart from the paper bumpf they carry.

Why does EVERY ONE of you comments on here contain nothing but sarcasm?

Do use sarcasm to hide your lack of education, knowledge and humour?

Don't just repeat what the guy up above said. Don't need to read the same comment twice. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

A different light? You mean you thought they knocked on 100 doors, and made 100 sales?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I bow before thee-the master of education, knowledge and humour. Oh-how humble everyone is in the light of your superiority. If Hitler was alive, he would be picking thee and thy offspring for his Master Race.
