Sorry I have been away.
I would keep them cool in a shed if possibe. If not possibly plant in Pots! I usually plant in March/April but I am still a novice. Last year I had late potatoes and didnt plant any until quite late on, think it was July time.EEKWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
They have raspberries in at ours - but surely the ground is still too solid?0

Our ground is defrosted to plant but I think raspberries should have gone in in autumn. It would be worth a try IMO for £1 if you could get them in quickly and have room for some other named varieties should these not be great.0 -

not got my allotment yet though - so they'd have to be heeled in somewhere.

If it were me, and I have no idea if this is good advice, and I had raspberries but no where to put them yet I'd pot them up so they could live and then move with little root disturbance when I had a space.
I DO have currants in exactly this situation!0 -
A new Poundland has just opened near us, so I'll definitely go and take a look, thanks OP.:hello:
