Good deal with the double time/time in lieu SL. Will all add to the savings/DF pot and hopefully you'll not be too busy. Good on you planning your time off and such healthy plans too! Maybe ex will have 'released' some of your stuff to ebay before then so that'll help keep you busy too.

I don't know Cheshire Oaks but it is worth checking out TKMaxx for ski stuff to see how prices compare. The trouble is that it could turn into a shopping trip! Will DS be going with you to choose?

I'm telling myself that I don't need anything at the moment. I'm going to treat myself when I've lost at least another dress size (probably be summer clothes by then:D).
  • Thanks for the tip Maman. Yes I'll have to take DS3 with me so he can choose his own stuff.

So far so good with the NSD, but the pavements are too slippery to risk moving much!

I'm sure my uniform must've shrunk in the wash over Christmas.........haha!:rotfl:

Hi Snowdownlily, found the new thread. Well done for the positive and measurable goals for 2011.

Thanks cally, I thought the website looked different. I hope my points will carry over. I also noticed I keep getting screened out of surveys right at the end

I've just completed a couple of surveys on Toluna, don't know what they're like yet though.

Thanks for saying hello everyone, can't wait to get started on 2011!

Will check out that website Sassers thank you, I need my magazine fix :D

Managed a NSD today, will try for another tomorrow.

  • Must stop checking out estate agents websites. :D

Just spotted a gorgeous little house. I don't know what I can afford yet, or how big a mortgage I can get (if at all!).

I seem to be wishing my life away at the moment, I'd love to be able to fast forward a couple of months! :D

  • Morning everyone :D

Just checked my bank balance :eek::eek:

I have £279 to last until the 24th January. Today I need to write H a cheque for £50 to contribute towards DS3's upkeep, which leaves me with £229.

Out of this I need to pay DS3's mobile contract which is £15 and my contract which is £35 (I know this is very high, but I'm tied into this until October :(

I have money put aside for DS3's skiing gear, so its going to be a tight squeeze but should be doable if I can keep myself reined in and not visit the sales.

I will also need to buy some more foundation/concealer this month, I'm scraping the bottom of the tube at the moment.

It occurred to me last night that this is the first time I've ever completely used a pot of foundation. The old me would have spotted a new product and bought it regardless of how much remained of the old one! Says it all really doesn't it :o:o
