Done a tiny bit of fluttering ... not sure you can even call it flying - put away dry clothes, emptied WM and hung up wet clothes and I've made 2 of the 3 beds. DD kindly made her bed when I asked her as these new drugs are making me feel so dizzy (did as GP said and had 1 each evening for 2 days and now today is my first day morning and evening and I feel bleugh, sick and dizzy and want to go to bed). DH making me a cup of tea and I've done some sandwiches and we're going out for a walk with the idea being the fresh air will help.

Hope not too many of you have sore heads this morning!

You're doing better than me I've only just had breakfast, off to the shower next, I have folded some laundry from yesterday though.

Still better than me. :o We were at NN's until 2.30 am, playing cluedo and headbands and generally having a good time. Didn't get up until 11am and since then I've decluttered a cuppa and checked/replied to e-mails.

I'm going to try and wake DH, have another cuppa and find something to eat. And make plans for the rest of the day. Do I attack the kitchen, DS2's room or the decorations in the LR? I also want to have some thinking time and maybe put some plans/ideas in writing. And then there's work work. And I liked kazm's list with the inventory, meal planning and cooking. I'm hoping that I'll have a plan by the end of brunch. I will find time to catch up with fred, as I really want to read all the messages from last night.

Hope everyone's having a good New Year's Day.

  • Im ashamed to admit I have not long surfaced, unfortunatly with a hangover from hell! My neighbour came round and brought some champagne wiht her and looking at my empties we have drank 2 bottles of champagne, a bottle of wine, and 4 smirnoff ice! no wonder i feel so rubbish _pale_

Nice to read all the New Year messages on here and as usual its all been said with more elegance and grace than i could ever think to put into words.

Right off to clear up the empties and get a bacon and brie sandwich on the go and then s&s kitchen and bathroom, the rest can wait till new list.

Good morning flyladies. Another slow start for me today as this virus has really taken all my energy.

We still have no water. 8 days now so not as bad as NI but I do really feel for those poor people. Our neighbours have all. Gone back on. So we can use their facilities.

I am going to try to go out this afternoon to a friends but need to see how I feel when get out of bed.

This evening I have invited DD and DSIL to join us for a special NY dinner so some post Christmas tidying needs to be done.

Must lose a bit of weight, but really I need to do more exercise. We had Just Dance for the Wii for Christmas, and although it's VERY funny, I'm not sure it counts as exercise :D guess it all helps tho ;)

Hope it counts as exercise as I'm planning on using as such.

I've just spent the last hour trying to catch DD's gerbil which is now back in its cage. She only had it yesterday - it's what she wanted for her birthday but she wouldn't have been able to have it until she was back at school if we hadn't got it yesterday. I knew there was some reason that I wanted her to have a hamster the same as DS - that's not half as fast!

So apart from walking the dog and deleting 6000 emails that's all I've done so far today.

Good afternoon of 1111 to you all.... Numbers time it is again

DP got back about 10.30am from Birmingham so not all bad. He's now asleep until he goes to drop friends car off/collect mine as he's at work tonight. Was awake until 5am then DS2 got up at 7am so after my shower I think the day will be limited to bimbles. Didn't get my room finished but did make a really good start on it, will do more later if I feel up to it as I want every room finished by the 4th when it comes to decluttering so I can study easier & without needing to worry as much about the state of the house because it will be easy to keep clean/tidy.....well that is the theory

Off to the shower to help me feel more human then write my 'must do' and resolutions list :) see if I can get my head round the years finance planning too
One day I might be more organised...........

    Happy new year all xx

I'm afraid I have not read any of the thread since yesterday so hope you are all well and a good New Years Eve xx

We are going to my Mum's for lunch today and I need to get party bags ready for tomorow. I also want to take the trees down as we are out most of tomorrow and I go back to work Tuesday(all day training thing). DD back in school Wednesday and normality returns. Would like most things done today so I can just do dailies and list on Monday and then chill out!!

Will try and read a bit of the thread before going to have a shower xx

    Good morning flyladies,

Plan today is cooking, eating and hopefully doing a little bit in the gardening. I might even clean the guttering as i can see loads of grass growing. :o

Kids all feed and out on bikes, scooters and playing football. :D

I've got the turkey in the oven for later, we have christmas at PIL so this is the first time i've cooked one so fingers crossed it will turn out good.;)

Right i best get the wm loaded and do a bit of flying before hubby gets back from PIL.

I hope the drugs thing settles down for you as it doesnt sound nice - hugs to you.

Hope all the other poorlies feel better soon, I am not going to tempt fate by saying I've been lucky 1.gif

Coffee being drunk as I write but way behind schedule as inventory took so long but have found a couple of sad looking seabass that me and the kids can have for tea tonight, just got to work out how to cook them especially as one still has head on, wonder if it has scales too as I hate that.

Will head on to take decs down next and see if I can play catch up lunching on the run.

    Plan for today is

[STRIKE]Freezer and fridge inventory[/STRIKE] DONE Eventually
Meal plan for as long as I can mentally cope with - postponed
Take decs and trees down - next on list
    Box and deposit in attic
    Lunch
    Hoover/Dust living rooms/Hall/stairs/landings
Cupboard inventorys so I know what I have!
    Tea
Soup making to use up fridge contents.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Am tired today though because of the late night - and ANOTHER horribly grey day. I'd rather we got the cold weather back - at least then there'd be some sunshine.
I know how you feel. If the sun shone I might actually manage to get something done...
