That was a funny sleep with all the fireworks going off for an hour and a half and the dog barking! Feel a bit groggy today (sleep not alcohol). Went to bed and watched TV until about 11.15pm then tried to sleep while feeling like I wasn't missing out of the party of the year. As if! I've stayed up for the last 21 NYE so I should no I'm not missing anything!

Happy New Year Flylady Friends, may 2011 bring health and happiness to all

  • Happy New Year everyone.

I've been reading through all the posts on here and it seems like you're such a lovely community. Having just joined I really hope I can bring something to that in 2011.

Plans for today scuppered as friends have flu, but I have an article due in in a week which I haven't even started and a lawn covered in leaves. And when I say covered I mean covered!
  • A Happy New Year to all fellow flyladies!

I have read all the posts and found them very touching.

Yes Valli - it is my daughter with ME - last night she went out with some friends for a meal at 6.30 - they had a great time.(That just shows how much she improved in 2010) She was home to see the 2011 in with her dad, whilst I was still playing Articulate at a party at 2.30am!

my thoughts are with the flyladies who need spoons or hugs - LL, Toots, LW... and all of you whos OH/exOH's need to grow up!

Off for another cup of tea - it's going to be one of those days!

    Morning ladies

I start the new year as I mean to go on - I had another lie in :o. Ok so that wasnt meant to happen but I am now breakfasted, showered, dressed and made up in true flylady style (well not the dressed bit as I dont think a tracky's quite her style) and I am armed with lists which I am already behind on.

    Plan for today is

    Freezer and fridge inventory
Meal plan for as long as I can mentally cope with
    Take decs and trees down
    Box and deposit in attic
    Lunch
    Hoover/Dust living rooms/Hall/stairs/landings
Cupboard inventorys so I know what I have!
    Tea
Soup making to use up fridge contents.

Looks like I better get started.

See you all at :coffee:time x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Morning all, and Happy New Year

Quite a good day yesterday. DS was over for most of it and DiL came round when she finished work so we all had dinner and saw the new year in together.

Am tired today though because of the late night - and ANOTHER horribly grey day. I'd rather we got the cold weather back - at least then there'd be some sunshine.

No real plans for today but tonight we're off to DiL's parents for dinner.

    Started HHC a little early:

Emptied and cleaned out cat litter tray, filled with clean litter.
Put all rubbish in a bag, will take it out when i go
    Emptied DW and restacked
    S&S'd the kitchen
    Straightened up living room
Folded dry washing and put away.

    Place looks a little better.
