    To the people I quote on a regular basis;
    To the ladies I turn to when I need advice;
    To the friends who make me smile when they mention my name;
    To the shoulders I lean on when I need support;
    To the members who make me laugh and cry;
    To each and every flylady out there thank you for being you and for sharing the days, the nights and silly o'clocks.
    You are a wonderful bunch of friends and I wish you all the very best of health and happiness for the coming year xxx

    Anyway I wish you ALL a happy and healthy 2011; I wish, in particular for Lady Liberty to have the best possible times and I wish Toots and Lamewolf the best of health, continued recovery for Triker, GnB's Littley to be well, and Pigpens brood to stay healthy. Cycling - hope your daughter continues to do well (I think it's your daughter I'm thinking of with ME?) For those coping with git-like KH's I hope that these KH's remember they are adult and start behaving accordingly - so that would be JJTTF; Piggers and Quillion's too - and those OH's who seem to think they need not pull their weght - wake up and smell the coffee - you're adults, you have responsibilities, it's supposed to be a partnership. (Mumoftwo (I think) Mummyof5, Vanilla and a fair few others are in this group I feel; on occasion).
    When Tony Hancock was 44 he and his wife were asked if they had children. Tony replied 'Yes, a boy aged 44'. Says it all really - cos I've got an awful feeling the LSB might fall into this category *rolls eyes* - keeping him at a distance should help ;)

    I hope those planning weddings have them go with only the one hitch - that would be the getting hitched bit;) Sexymouse and Seafarer's - are there any more?

    Those who have lost loved ones - take them into the New Year in your hearts - the love is always there. I hope you are able to smile at the happy memories.

    And finally

    Thank you all for your friendship and support - especially those Flyladies - and they know who they are - who gave me the 'extra' support and advice and encouragement to get out into the real world - I hope that 2011 brings you all peace and joy

    I dont think there is anything I can say to follow this excellent post Valli, you have said everything I wanted to and more.
    Pigpen - you are amazing and how you manage to keep us all in line as well as your own children and OH I will never know. Thank you for everything you do.
    Toots - for your incredible strength of character, for your superb memory, for you brilliant posts while tackling difficult times ahead. Thank you.
    LadyLib - you have truly positive postings and quotations both here and on FB that show the kind of positive person you are. You too I know have difficult circumstances and your bravery in facing every day so positively makes me feel ashamed to complain somedays.
    Lilme - You are amazingly supportive. From the day I arrived on flylady when you ran it, you became in my eyes a true friend. You always find time to send me a message when I need one and one day I hope I can meet you in person to say Thank you.
    AnW'smum - Again someone who has always been there over the years and been there to prop me up when I needed it with a message or 2. It was lovely to finally meet you this last summer along with A and W and I hope we can repeat this soon x
    Valli - thank you for your sense of humour. You always have the ability to make me laugh with your posts or links to other things you have found and I look forward to seeing what you have to say each day.
    Dusty, Hex, froddington, boddy, greenbee, sexymouse, poohbear, vanilla, serena, soappie, jjef, julijim and Triker to name just a few - you all have such a positive influence on people who are posting with your knowledge and support, Thank you.

    I know there are many many more who I havent named and I am sorry if I havent personally included you in the list - there are far too many to remember in my aging confuddled memory, but I do thank you all sincerely.

    2011 will hopefully start positively now that the 2009/2010 cloud has been lifted and I hope that we can all of us look forward to some sunshine in our lives.
    Happy New Year my friends,
    I hope to see you all in 2011
    Like others I am borrowing these as they say everything I wanted to and much better than I could.

    Not making any specific resolutions, but I am determined not to be sitting here in a year's time muttering that I have wasted the year again.

    No herbal teas as the cupboard got damp and couldn't face the shops to replace. Trying warm water now, had it since yesterday so possibly caused by the alcohol, it's not nice.....same goes for warm water ***urgh***

    More fireworks going off so came down to be with woof for a bit as he was crying, going to let him out as soon as these ones stop so he's been before the midnight-1am lot.

    Ever wish you hadn't started something? Silly bedroom!
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    lilme - water does help. I've never tried it warm but I get heartburn and I can't drink milk - yucky, yucky - should only be in coffee, never straight from the bottle!! I just drink lots of cold water - in my head it dilutes the acid stuff so heartburn goes away - simples!! Hope it goes soon cos it hurts x

    PS - know this sounds silly but I also stretch my back by trying to bend backwards - seems to shift acidy stuff along abit and eases the heartburn - could be just coincidence [sp?] but it sometimes works for me

    Frozen yogurt or ice cream work well. Otherwise carbs generally help - deals with the acid somehow. Tinned rice pudding is one of my favoured solutions. Otherwise some plain bread, or couscous. Pasta at a pinch. But no fats/tomato or any kind of dressing/sauce.

    I think everything I could think of to say about this thread has already been said incredibly well by others. You're all fabulous, in your own unique ways :D

    Off to bed as soon as I've dealt with the last batch of laundry (the house may not be tidy, but I've done 4 loads of washing and mostly dried it!). Lets hope the neighbours turn down whatever cr*p they're watching on TV before I want to go to sleep...

    Here's to a happy and successful 2011 :beer:

    helen jelly I am so pleased the curtains are closed, but no it didn't work :D:o agree with milk not nice at all, I can't tell if it's gone off because it always stinks/tastes nasty

    Yoghurt, how silly of me, I have some that needs using soonish too, will try that thanks you :) . I tried the dry toast thing which didn't sort it, I think I might have to just put up with the stupid thing......Do you think I should warn DP as the last time I had chronic heartburn for days I was pregnant ***don't usually get it other times*** and because of the amount of water I've been drinking I will never be off the loo :rotfl: nah if he's stupid enough to forget I have an implant in my arm he can fester hahahaha

    I'm waffling instead of doing the bedroom aren't I, got no choice but to finish it as the bed is covered in what was on my side on the floor......bums
