Quillion, just a suggestion, would it be worth speaking to your ex's girlfriend and saying how worried you are about the situation re your son and what her thoughts are about it all?....Just a thought. xxx

She is not allowed to talk to me now. I got a right telling off the other week for dropping her off at home when we dropped the kids off at school. It was raining and she was walking home what am i supposed to do let her get wet. His reply was next time let her walk.

I have a feeling she is being used but thats not my problem.

Not an option to take Jake with me i am afraid no more flight space and he was with his dad today so could not get him a passport.

All will come out in the wash and in court think this may be expensive !!!!!

    Happy New Year Guys xxx

I also wish to echo Shortbird's Mantra about thinking lucky and being lucky - along with my Pollyanna-like attitude somehow it does seem to work - though I know that changing the mindset isn't easy. But I truly believe that THIS is how I have coped through the bad times - I'm ALWAYS convinced that my ship is close by the harbour, even if it hasn't actually docked.

Anyway I wish you ALL a happy and healthy 2011; I wish, in particular for Lady Liberty to have the best possible times and I wish Toots and Lamewolf the best of health, continued recovery for Triker, GnB's Littley to be well, and Pigpens brood to stay healthy. Cycling - hope your daughter continues to do well (I think it's your daughter I'm thinking of with ME?) For those coping with git-like KH's I hope that these KH's remember they are adult and start behaving accordingly - so that would be JJTTF; Piggers and Quillion's too - and those OH's who seem to think they need not pull their weght - wake up and smell the coffee - you're adults, you have responsibilities, it's supposed to be a partnership. (Mumoftwo (I think) Mummyof5, Vanilla and a fair few others are in this group I feel; on occasion).
When Tony Hancock was 44 he and his wife were asked if they had children. Tony replied 'Yes, a boy aged 44'. Says it all really - cos I've got an awful feeling the LSB might fall into this category *rolls eyes* - keeping him at a distance should help ;)

I hope those planning weddings have them go with only the one hitch - that would be the getting hitched bit;) Sexymouse and Seafarer's - are there any more?

Those who have lost loved ones - take them into the New Year in your hearts - the love is always there. I hope you are able to smile at the happy memories.

    And finally

Thank you all for your friendship and support - especially those Flyladies - and they know who they are - who gave me the 'extra' support and advice and encouragement to get out into the real world - I hope that 2011 brings you all peace and joy

    (And I haven't had a glass yet - shame this wasn't 10000!)

Valli - that is lovely :A

If I might count my blessings, I have a wonderful DH (who has encouraged me to get my crochet out, rather than Flying, and we're sitting here by the fire that's he's lit, him reading. He's brought me a glasss of Marsala wine, and gone to check on the beef in red wine that he's cooking for tea :) ). My children are delightful to be with, and a credit to me whenever they mix with other people. We all have our health, and can afford to do what we want to do (within reason).

2011 looks like it will have highs and lows for us, but we will weather the storms and celebrate the good times :)

Wishing all my Flylady friends health and happiness in 2011 :j

penpen and valli - you are :A I have a tear in my eye from reading these and you have said everything I would want to say and more. Thank you :T

Dusty - my 101 in 1001 list is already underway but, if I may join you, your challenge will help me to achieve more of it.

There are several places I need to visit so any meets around the country in school holidays or at weekends would be most helpful :D

I must try to get out more, even if it is on my own!

I'm blubbing at all the messages, some of you know how much you all mean to me, you're my friends who never let me down & even if I bury my head in the sand sometimes or I am just snowed under you're still there for me when I need it & for that I'll always be grateful. I wish you all the very best for 2011 xxx

Seafarers I use M&S food to avoid MrS when it's really busy ....... Couldn't face it today :o but realised I didn't NEED to go

Well not a very productive day, just bimbled, did some washing, kept things tidy......I must be unwell as I emptied the DW when it was still warm. Did plenty of S&Ss then made some yummy stuffed chicken breasts for tea. Done a little more finance planning, needs more work as I've got to figure how on earth I am going to pay to go to Spain.

Now.... Being the sad git I am DP has gone to work so I'm going to go clear my bedroom. It's the last darn room to do & I'll be shot if I leave it all until next year! Flylady in me just can't :o:D
One day I might be more organised...........

Happy new year guys, thanks Valli, that was a lovely thing you wrote.

Managed to get the kitchen cleared up, made some white choc and raspberry muffins, fajita's for tea.

Off to pick eldest up to avoid taxi fares.
