Wow its difficult to keep up on here! I have been away a few days since my first post and feel like I have missed loads.
I have decided my first two projects for this year are birth samplers for my nearly two year old and 6 month old. I have done one for my daughter I can't post links yet its called Toy Shelf Birth Record and am looking for suggestions for similar style ones. I quite like Baby Birth Record Express and a Noahs Ark Dimensions kit I have seen has anyone done them do you think the three designs would look ok on the wall together?
While I am still thinking which ones to do will be trying to use up my threads on disney princess designs!0 -
I have done the Toy Shelf one...it's was great to stitch..;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0

Hello all
do you mind if I join you?
Have been lurking on the old thread for a while, love reading & seeing what everyone is doing, & now its a new year & a new thread thought I'd finally join in!
Have been doing cross stitch on and off for about 15 years, but really getting back into it now.
Have nearly finished a wedding sampler for my niece, and am just waiting to pick up my new frame and stand tomorrow so I can make a start on my next (and most adventorous!) project - Michael Powell's Tenby Harbour - having second thoughts though now that I've copied the chart though, not sure if I'm up to it!! I saw a finished version of it on his stand when I went to the Hobbycraft show at the NEC back in November, so I am inspired - but it may take me quite a while to finish!
Am always looking for other kits, and have just spotted "Rainbow Peacock" found it for $19.99 & $8 dollars shipping (so about £18) on an american site (can I say which one it is?) - on uk sites its £25 & over & postage on top, so am thinking of buying it from the US with the last of my xmas cash!
I will get some pics uploaded over the weekend so you can see what I'm up to!
