Haven't done any stitching this week as I'm knitting a blanket for my friends baby and the wool arrived on Monday! ..progress is even slower than my cross stitch though!

It looks nothing like the picture, but then my finished work never does :rotfl: I also just realised I missed his tassles on his scarf, but I like it like that so its staying that way. If you want ayou know what to do. I loved the stars so will prob add it to something else too.

Ohh why did you post that link??:o:rotfl:
Lovely charts on there - I have only looked at two pages (so far) and have saved some designs to my wish list:
Sunset Mermaid

Pink Sparkle
http://www.alscross-stitch.co.uk/ourshop/prod_944676-PINK-SPARKLE-KIT.html
And I have earmarked the blue butterlfy/eye after admiring the lilac one on here:

Only wish they had a 'chart only' option because I hate buying full kits.
Edit: Oh maybe they do - just can't find it in the drop down menusCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Edit: Or do they? There is a page saying they list as kits but charts can be bought but they're not in he drop down menus?
Thats where I got my butterfly eye louise. She does do charts only for £8.50 I think but you have to email her as she doesn't upadte all her charts for chart only. They are huge very readable charts too. The only thing is they are A4 but my scanner/photocopier doesn't really fit them so make sure they match if you take copys to mark out. She is very approchable, I have been emailing her weekly for months now. Love most of her designs, even the wolfs, which arn't really me at all :rotfl:

Oooh - now you told me, there are kits that could keep me occupied for the rest of my life. (Goes off to get something to wipe the drool off the key board...)"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

It's not the cheapest, but they have a huge range
I have a vague recollection that they used to do free postage ? or perhaps it was £1 for postage but it was sent recorded delivery? The last couple of times I have paid £1.99 for postage but when I have had heavy items in my order (cross stitch frames) etc its been more. It would be nice if they did free postage ..... but I suppose you have to weigh up that the stuff comes quickly and their prices are good.0 -
peoplessss..... just been reading one of the board guides and apparently they like you to start a new thread when yours gets to 4500 - 5000 posts due to the stress on the servers. So I am gonna start us a new cafe for the rest of the year while my boys nap......please check back here for a linky .
You know what that means tho..... shiny new needles for a shiny new thread
If anyone would like me to link their name to their blog/ flikr account in the 2nd/3rd post please drop me a PM and I will.
(wouldn't it be great if you could actually PM every subscriber to a group!!... I know it'd get abused but it'd be a fab function if it only allowed the person opening the thread to do so)loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
