It's done!! Hurrah!:j :j I didnt bother unpicking my mistakes, though did remove a flower that meant I'd have had to have done lots more of the same for a border. I'm not happy with it at all, fro the odd looking 3/4s to even having some with the top stitch going the wrong way :o
So now I've just got to decide how to get her address... Risk phoning parents, or try to find tel number of family friend I know will have hers. Harumph.

Hope everyone is safe and well today.

Have just phoned in my AcrossTown thread order so that's done now.

    In other news.....
The small fridge needed defrosting today as I noticed last week a large block of ice had formed on the back wall. I think it's because a can of Magners had blocked the drainage hole so the water built up and froze.
Anyway, I emptied the fridge out and put a bowl of hot water inside to speed things up while I went and done the dusting.
Came back and it was melting nicely but as I'm impatient I thought I would carefully try to chip away some of the ice. Using a plastic scraper I was being very careful but obviously not careful enough because next thing I knew I was getting a Magners shower  :rotfl:
Luckily most of the Magners had frozen but I still got quite a soaking.

woops have been lurking and read everything.......... then forgotton what i wanted to say - DOH!

23rd - do you think she may be in the phone book?? I can understand why you wouldn't want to talk to your mum... nor would I.

no stitching done here. was hoping to get all my housework done this am then stitch between lunch and getting babywiggle (gonna have to stop calling him that now aren't i now he's all growing up??). Anyway actually spent the last 4 hours sorting paperwork and finances and (fingers crossed) have been accepted on a good rate loan to pay off 2 other loans and 3 credit cards for a 3rd of the total outgoing costs i'm curretly paying. leaving me enough to put £100 a month away for a house deposit and £400 a month to live on. Then in 5yrs when it has finished HOPEFULLY will be able to get a mortgage and a house - I'll be 34.. hardly seems worth it at that age. :rotfl: the fact the boys will only be 5 and 7 does make me feel a bit younger. :D

now does anyone know any good tricks for avoiding repayment fees on loans (santander £3000 and lloyds £3000) :money:

Lol! Why was there Magners in your freezer??? My mum gave me a tip for defrosting the freezer. Mix hot water with some salt & put in a spray bottle then regulary spray the iced parts. Works a treat!

Trying to get motivated enough to go to the gym. Not feeling it at the moment. I'd rather curl up with my stitching...

Magners wasn't in freezer, it was in the under counter fridge that had frozen up at the back :D
I'm usually good at keeping things away from the back wall of the fridge as they tend to freeze but somehow the can had got shoved to the back and ended up on top of the drainage hole so I think the combination of the 2 caused the big lump to form.

Thanks for the defrosting tips ladies. Hopefully won't need them for awhile though.

TMIF. Butterflies are coming along great, I love the colours!
