Ahhhh yes, I had seen that last week, I think but forgot about it. It looks a bit 'blocky' IMO but that might just be a bad quality picture? Will have to look in to that :D

OMG almost £80  for one of those, that is outragous!
I think the most I have spent on a kit, was definitely no more than £20 and I think, being the true Yorkie that I am, that would probably be the most I would be willing to spend on a kit

Placed an order for card crafting goodies earlier, was a sale on, loads of £££ saved and I used my birthday money too so even better. I might get some skeins with some more of the bday money and put the rest in to my parrot fund :D

Most I have spent was nearly £50 for my Map of Europe kit :o

Wouldn't spend that sort of money on a kit these days (I would hunt down a chart instead lol)

Hi perfectP. Nice to meet you pull up a cuppa and cake. Whats your latest project do share. Instructions for Flikr are on the first post if you aren't sure how to do it.

Sorry I was quiet last night I'm going to be quite open and admit I didn't want to post and not mention craftygranny's granddaughter and biker but I just didn't know what to say (does that make sense??).... feel like sending vertual hugs just isn't enough.

If you were friends with me on Facebook and have suddenly found yourself removed I am TRESSSS sorry. I decided to have a clearout of random people and think i may have accidently deleted some stitchers. SOORRRYYY - please send me a new request. Simerly if you are on the mse crossstitch cafe facebook page and want to 'out yourself' as someone who will remain nameless did the other day and want to be my friend leave a message on the wall and i will send you a request.

still no stitching here..........tho i may just have an hour on it now.

Does anyone have any handy hints and tips for keeping sunflowers alive outside?? We have killed 2 so far and just bought a new one today.

I do like that new stitch/stash chart - but must resist. If anyone does stitch it would love to borrow your finished photo to update the facebook page logo and replace my old stiitch/ stash.

ohhhhh ohhh babywiggle is on the Hollywood Bowl/ AMF bowling facebook page photo album - YAYAY.

here's a new pic for those of you that like the updates :D

my big boy has thrown his dummies in the bin this afternoon. He's asked for them a couple of times then been reminded he's a big boy with a new big boy skateboard and didn't need them any more and he's been fine..... and gone to bed without one too..... am SOO proud.

LOL yep, and rising, there's just soooooo many to choose from!!

Yeah I've been making cards for years now, I probably have more card making goodies than cross stitching goodies! So much so that I really need to have a crafting room to hide it all away :rotfl:

I used MAC years ago when I first started crafting as it was the only online craft shop that was dirt cheap, now-a-days there are a LOT more out there, which is great for us!

But the sale was on at imag-e-nation, but to be fair, they ALWAYS have stuff for sale at £1 or less. I do like the £1 section though, and they keep adding stuff to it, but they have the flippin' range there too, and often put together packs for a quid or two, like this set for £2.50 (which I got a couple of), and this for just a quid!!! {I got 5 packs of those earlier in the year, and seeing as there was some left, I thought it would be rude NOT to get a couple more lol}.

Back on stitchy topic.... did an hour of stitching earlier, might squeeze in another hour or two before bed :D

whoo hoo It's fab when they go without their dummies for the first time. What a clever big boy he is . It must be hard for them though. when carly threw hers away she told the bin man he was a bad boy cos he took the bin with them in. lol. Chicky you must be so proud of the boys they are lovely noah is about 4 weeks younger than my youngest grandson.

No hints for keeping sunflowers though all plants die within 24 hours of coming near me .

That emmerdale kit looks a bit odd to me but what do i know. Those london ones are very pricey. Being a true yorkshire girl i certainly won't be forking out for one no matter how lovely.

OOOOh soulie i got some flippin decoupage sheets from there earlier in the year. not used any yet though lol. Got the flippin men stamps there too they did those for £1 . Have you had any of the framin cards i keep looking at them but can't decide.

Yeah, it looks odd to me too, seems kinda 'blocky'. If that's the right word.

Didn't realise you were a Yorkshire lass too :D

Yep, I got some of the stamp sets for £1 too, don't think I have the full collection though, but I did manage to get a couple of multiples :D

Yes I have quite a few of the framin' ones, they are quite easy to work with, but HUGE lol
Going to use one of them to make a card for my cousin when she has her baby, I'll take pics and put them on my blog in the next couple of days or so.

OHHH soulie ..... now I've changed my christmas card ideas after looking at your link (yours had pks of 5 for £1 but OOS... booo) .

Am gonna get a pack of these (or similar). Then stitch a block square of multicolour diagnal stripes to place behind it. (hope that makes sense).
