Yes, I think they're really freaky. I've done that Titanic pic-probably told you before! We went to the Titanic exhibit at the O2 on Thursday. Very moving & I've now touched part of titanics hull. How amazing is that???
Did try & reply to the earlier post about The Killing tv show, but it messed up when typing. Was just thinking that it might be on 4OD so you can watch online? I've not seen it myself though, sorry.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Hi every one, i'll catch up later if u don't mind... Am thinking of starting a blog, after a few years of using blogger to comment and having done guest posts on one, and having a flickr account for years I thought it would draw all my online presence together. But what name?!?! Everyone knows me as 23rdspiral, but do u think blog name should be more descriptive? Eg, something stitchy? Or both? Sorry, current obsession looming.Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. Hi
Was wondering if anyone had the back issue 173 of The World of Cross Stitching.
I am after the 2nd part of the Pirate Queen Chart.
I am willing to cover all costs if anyone has this magazine or chart.
Many thanks0 -
I love the titanic pic
I did this about 8 years ago and it still hangs on my wall, a real labour of love0 -
my bright idea of making a sausage casserole has left me somewhat  so I think i shall stay out of the kitchen for the rest of the day and sit on the sofa with my stitching instead. I've almost finished xmas card number 2 - just the back stitch now I think. I am quite enjoying stitching my cards - hopefully I shall be nice and organized this year and have a nice little selection to pick from come early December.
There has been lots of stuff in the news this week that has left me sad and also left me pondering what is up with this world. I don't intend the week's news to hijack our lovely thread though but I just wanted to mention it in passing and say that lots of people are in my thoughts. xxx0 -
I agree Flat Eric - love of hugs to those concerned and a whole community of people trying desparately to pick up the peices. x Getting lots of stitching done today whilst F1 is on. Been car booting and brought a cross stitch card kit for 50p with a birthday cake on it. Have a good day x8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140

Guess what - I've finished it - except for the eyes. I tried to do some French Knots - but they don't look obvious enough, so I am going to have to get some diddy little beads instead I think.
Does anyone know how to remove the blue lines, do I just pop it in the wash?
Isn't it lovely, I am so chuffed with it0 -
tell me - thats so lovely!
Eric - I totally agree. I've been stunned and so saddened.23rdspiral wrote: »maybe its that fab country park near loughborough?mrs-moneypenny wrote: »23rd Bradgate is in leicestershire, its lady jane greys family estate the house is in ruins but its just glorious open countryside bracken and ferns loads of rock and deer if youre lucky (we were lots of times) the view from old john was stunning you can see for miles.
old john was a windmill but during a bonfire a much loved old miller from the estate was killed so the familty converted the ruins of the mill into a monument to him it looks like a huge beermug sitting on the top of the hill;) you can see it from the ciity centre.
theres your free history lesson for today:rotfl:
