it might not be as i'm waiting on a couple of things.... have paid the £2.72 and will see what turns up.....

    .......... watch this space.

posting anything now seems to be a bit of a lottery. Its so very confusing and I don't understand how Royal Mail can justify a penalty of £1 plus the underpaid postage?

I remember seeing something on watchdog where a bride to be had been to the post office and asked how much it would cost to send her wedding invitations. They measured/weighed one of the envelopes and said it would cost the price of a first class stamp except when she send all the invites out, lots got held up at the post office with lovely cards stuck through the letter box from the postman instead because there wasn't enough postage. Seemingly the postage on some wasn't enough yet on others it was ???

It also reminds me of yesterday and getting home late because lots of our office post had the wrong postage on and we had to frank lots of 5 pence labels to make the postage up oh and it also reminds of my first office job when we used to do mailshots all over the world - I had franked a large batch of post for the states I think and then continued to frank lots of letters meant for the uk with the expensive US postage !!

I am planning on doing not very much today other than sitting in front of the TV with my cross stitch/my book. Cricket is on so plan to watch that :jIts good because it means you don't have to pay too much attention to the tv and I typically listen to the radio commentary which is a fraction ahead of the tv so plenty of time to catch the action if something exciting happens :rotfl:

I would be interested to know if any of you have been watching The Killing that is being shown on Channel 4 at the moment? I recorded the pilot but forgot to series link so I have missed some (I think just the one episode but I am not sure). Is it worth watching ? I have looked at the reviews on ama$on and its got a few poor reviews for the dvd release which comes out in September which has put me off. It says the original is much better and you can buy this on dvd also but its £30 odd pound  and you would have to follow the subtitles as its in danish!

Well I need to do the wolves, bear cub, cheetah cub, horses and kittens. Then I am planning to do dogs, elephants, owl and dolphins (not found the patterns for these 4 as yet), make it all into a wall hanging and actually have time left to enjoy it :rotfl:(I am only 42 you know :rotfl:)

Awww, that's sooo beautiful! What's it called and where from? I want to put it on my wish list!

It is by Kustom Krafts called little baby cheetah, I have bought other of their kits from Colray Crafts but this is a new kit so I ordered it straight from USA :o as didn't have the patience to wait until it is available from UK stockist.
