Tonight I got back to my HAED (Touched by magic) got a pitifully small amount done but it's set up on the frame so I will do some more of it.

Thanks TMIF. My op should be in October, hoping it won't clash with Ally Pally! Had a scan on Wednesday and tumour has shrunk 1.5cm so heading in the right direction :j

morning all
lazy day yesterday youngest DD and her BF cooked dinner, DS actually did some tidying and eldest DD took us for a drink while all this was going on, didnt get any stitching or knitting related birthday pressies i think the kids know how full the house is with things for those hobbies:rotfl:. got some lovely smellies a book i really wanted to read, an appt for a really posh hair salon and other bits and bobs. weekend started very sad as on saturday afternoon when our old but otherwise healthy cat roger suddenly died:(. Luckily if that the right word i realised something was wrong and was sitting with him stroking him and trying to comfort him so he wasnt alone at the end. seems strange not having him brushing round my legs whle im typing

i honestly dont think so:(. it seems like weve had him forever, he was a rescue cat so not sure how old, he was between two and four when we got him and he was just right the only thing he did that irritated me was leaving me 'gifts' of birds or mice occasionally on the doorstep apart from that he was great never ill never any trouble. never strayed far from home and cried when i took him vets for his jabs, i think he associated cat baskets and travel with the sanctuary or the vets because they were the only times he was caged

As for me.....
I didn't realise any of you were Apprentice fans until catching up with the thread just now. This is the first series hubby and I have watched and we now regret not having watching the previous ones.
What did you think of the result? Helen and Tom were our favs to win but we were quite pleased Tom won in the end, being an inventor he has lots of future potential.

Not done any stitching this weekend but hope to get some done today.
