WOW! love the blog and love the stuff you show on it. You've got a real talent and a lot of patience - everything looks perfectly made.

I want a blog now, I'm off to google "how to set up a blog" :D

Afternoon all. no stitching for me yet today as I ran (well jogged/walked) the race for life 5k this morning :j and the lemon drizzle cake I made yesterday ended up in the bin as it went a bit wrong so I have made a new one this afternoon and I am very hopeful this one will be better. so cake all round in the cafe in about 30 mins :j:j:j

I hope everyone is having a lovely sunday. the weather is very strange, one minute its raining, the next the sun is out! typical british weather!

So this evening I plan to watch the apprentice final and do a little bit of cross stitching. Interesting about the blogs. I have one too although haven't posted in a while. Here is the link. flat eric

I really enjoyed the race for life. Already thinking of signing up for next year :j

enjoy the rest of stitchy sunday all and hugs too xxxx

Well done on the 5k Flat Eric and loving the blog - when you win the millions could I have a few kits from your new stash:p Imagine the UFO list you would have then!

Have made a momentous decision (also posted elsewhere so sorry if you have read it there too) am NOT going to do school work on a Sunday night anymore as I am seriously cheesed off with the awful feeling I get building up on Sunday afternoon and the way I feel we have to rush whatever we are doing in order to get home for me to work. So tonight I will be a) ironing the essentials for tomorrow morning b) making 2 packed lunches c)watching the apprentice and d)stitching :j

My 2 eldest sons used to share an apartment and one went to the us and the other moved in with his girlfriend so we needed to dispose of everything and most things were only 6 months old and i got messages asking were the couches and wardrobes etc from ikea as they only liked ikea stuff another asked me where we bought them from and how much did they cost . Oh and a 42 " tv is useless unless it's a plasma i was told by one. I did get over 400 requests for the x box though . In the end i went on and called them a bunch of ungrateful label grabbers and told them they were all so rude i wasn't giving anything away. lol
I phoned the council and a man came and took everything including the plates and pans to give to a charity he helped that gave to people with nothing.

i know - i deliberatly don't even reply to anyone like that. i was freegling a buggy before (got off freegle originally) and got a message asking what type it was.... knowing full well they only wante a 'named' buggy. mine went to a charity helping failed asylum seekers.

Chicky - and anyone else that is interested - my ebay name is the same as here ailsb. I have listed 36 items today, mainly cross stitch. Some are ones that I bought but will never get round to doing, others are inherited. I have keep quite a few that my mum bought and I can't bring myself to get rid of. They are on my "one day" list.

Good news, I think I've found the aida and floss for the Tiger that I posted about the other day. It's in a bag with other bits so need to sort through it.

Well girls, this is the last time I will post as 39 year old - tomorrow I am 40

Also, I won't be here for a week as my parents have paid for us to go on a weeks holiday down to Cambridge - we will be visiting Betchley Park and Imperial War Museum in Duxford.

So I will see you all next week - have good times stitching, relaxing in general, behaving yourselves, having yummy lemon cake, taking good care of yourselves - will miss you all.

Kind wishes and goodbye to my 30s

    sweetcarer ;)
