Thanks for the link. I really must get myself a Michael Powell kit at some point, they are really nice.
Think I'll start my xmas wishlist :rotfl:

I agree they are lovely - never really noticed how nice his work was before - seen a lovely cupcake bookmark - would suit my friend Holly down the ground - wonder if I should get it to stitch for her Christmas ;)

well it wasn't me that won £161 million so my dream of retiring tomorrow and buying all the cross stitch supplies under the sun has gone out of the window :rotfl:

    ....

I didn't win either :( - I just would like enough to pay everything off and buy a new house - on its own with plenty room including my own wee craft room(s) :) I hate living where I live at times - the neighbours are really quite annoying. We don't complain to keep the peace. Also if I did win I would give something to all of you as you all have been so supportive to me and I just want to thank you. Dodgy hug time :grouphug:
Finished 'Too Pooped' and stitched a Golden Wedding card for parents for the end of July. Will post photos when I have enough energy to go upstairs and get the camera!

Not been at work all week as I've felt so poorly.

    Started this yesterday afternoon

    http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/Shoe-Delight---14-Count-Aida__VER-2720-bslsh-75-prd-208.aspx

Bought it a copy of years ago and think it'll be perfect in the guest bedroom.

Now that is something that pattern - really beautiful I think my cross stitch craving is coming back slowly. BTW hope you are feeling a bit easier - it must be hard but we are all here for you - you very own chearleading gang lol.

I looked at the the ready to stitch bears/bunnies etc - they are all so cute but can I ask what is makes them difficult to stitch?

Was at hospital today, got accepted for treatment, I know its nothing compared to what some of you all go through but I am hoping it will help. I have really bad hair growth (hithruism sp?) through PCOS and its really upsetting me so I hope it helps. It doesn't usually work for redheads and blondes but some of my neck is a bit darker - sorry for burdening you all - I know it is small in comparison to all you all with more medical problems that a bit of excess hair.

Well getting ready for holiday. We will be down near Cambridge on a bus tour - visiting Betchley Park and Imperial War Museum, Duxford. Really looking forward to it.

Will pop in before we go. Kind wishes to all

I hope the treatment works for you Sweetcarer - things like that have a horrible psychological effect. Let's hope it works fast.

Sorry you're feeling so poop Biker.... when are you having your op? It's quite soon if I remember correctly. Have they told you how it's all progressing. Keep safe, and rest. Don't stress yourself out by putting too much pressure on yourself re work. I love the legs :D

Oh I agree!! Although I'm actually enjoying a malibu and coke at the moment but the red wine to be enjoyed shortly!!!

I'm planning a relaxing day tomorrow which means not doing much other than reading my book and doing some cross stitch. the mouseloft xmas card I'm stitching is coming along nicely and I expect I shall finish it tomorrow. Then I might go back and finish my newton bear eating too much cake design then back to xmas cards. :rudolf:

ps hugs all and happy friday evening.xxx

Those are cool - I need more smileys in my life! Managed to stitch a little bit last night but was watching rugby as well. Have planned in a half hour or two today to keep me going through dull housework.

    Morning all

Its raining here so I don't think I have much choice but to hide away and stitch/read my book today :j

I was up early this morning so I have already made a lemon drizzle cake - its sat on the side cooling - its the first time I have made it, so I hope it tastes ok !

I found this last night! What do you think?

    Xmas card

I think it is a really lovely simple design that looks very effective.

what is everyone's stitching plans for today ?
