Have skimmed through about 20 pages to catch up with everyone today!

Work is mental, home is mental and stitching has been somewhat lacking recently :( Also have to visit hospital again this week for investigations into my inner workings - according to the letter it seems to involve two hosepipes and a bucket and a great deal of embarrassment to work out what is wrong with me so I am really looking forward to that :o

Am still stitching the chapel, still haven't found the camera lead and still wanting to have more stitchy time.

I don't know if any of you are big winnie the pooh fans but if you are, have you been on sewandso lately ?

I have noticed that they seem to have some new stock of the Debbie Minton Designer Stitches Winnie the pooh kits - kits that I thought were discontinued. and the cherry on the top is that there are quite a few that are 50% off and some with 75% off :j:j

I don't know if it's any help but my parents had a car that was new to them that broke down within weeks of them buying it. They contacted the garage and mentioned statutory rights & trading standards and the man paid the entire £345 garage bill. Might be worth looking into x

  • Hi all,

Not been around for a while, so I'd thought I'd pop in and say hello and everyone's work is looking lovely. *Louise* how fast do you stitch?

I'm still working on the dictionairy of robins and my aim is to finish one robin a week, including the lovely backstitch! I will try and remember to post pictures, but someone may need to jog my memory.

I too am tryiing to avoid looking at sew and so, as I've got a stash of kits and UFO's that need to be finished before I can purchase any new kits, which is going to be hard as I'm doing my m-i-l a cross stitch hamper for Christmas.
  • Afternoon all, unexpected day stitching for me as I am home from work ill. Getting a lot of the eye done and am aiming to finish the top right main page today. We shall see ;) I can avoid sew & seew and many other online shopping sites, my vice is ebay so I tend to not go on there much. Unless you ladies link to it :rotfl: Have a great day all.

Luckily we took out a warranty so we should be covered . Well for most of it but might be worth asking the garage to cover the rest. Garage think it's the cylinder head :eek:.

Paid nearly a grand about 3 months ago to get my sons head gasket done . I think i'm keeping that mechanic, Wonder if he fancies moving in. save time looking for him lol
