    Yikes indeed. :rotfl:

lord look at all those kits *faints...THUD* :rotfl::rotfl:
just out of intrest do you think you will ever get them all done? :D

im still ploding on with blue birds card cross stitch im doing ..getting fed up now as i so want to do home sweet home.. i will not join in this stitch along as i have no small people to cross stitch cut threw for :o

Not in a million years! A lot are quite big projects, too. And I know I'll buy more, although I am much more restrained than I used to be. Honest!!!!

I'm doing the Cut Thru kits for me & DH (30 & 50), so you don't need little ones to stitch 'for'. If you want to join in, join in! Or do a stitch-a-long with something else.

Goodness me thats a whole lot of kits! You will need to stitch 24/7 for years to get through that lot!!

Love my sleep too much for 24/7! :D

I have finished the ginger fat cat. It has 4 smaller cats with a baking theme. I though it would look nice with Big Ginger in the middle and the others surrounding him.

That is so cute! Really love that one. :T

  • Hi all

haven't managed to do any stitching today but did a couple of hours yesterday. Most importantly fixed my craft lamp so I can now do stitching in the evening. which will help get more projects done.

struggling to compete with rest of family for a turn on the computer at the moment should be better when they are all back at work and school, does any one else have the same problem?

    Yeah not a problem. :rotfl:

I haven't done any stitching at all since 24th December. I now have visitors until New Years and also a new Professor Layton game to play. :o

Gosh Ruth_Honey, that's a lot of kits, you could open a shop with them!

Blimey ruth_honey that is some serious stash - makes mine pale into insignificance!

Success today have finished christmas sampler but haven't found camera lead to get a piccy on here yet. Am going to start January challenge early so might even have a chance to get that done too.

Am off to visit my olds on New Years Day - the only day we can manage between us cos of dh's work. They are in their temporary flat and their bungalow has been gutted. Unfortunately since the flood they have had their car pranged by a new neighbour at the flats who left his number plate under their car! Then they went round to the bungalow yesterday and were filling kettle to have a quick brew between rescuing more personal stuff when more water started coming through kitchen roof and they have another leak:( They are definitely ready for a new year asap. Am taking hugs, flowers, cakes and some replacement photos of their grandchildren cos they got washed out.

I have one Shelley and found it good when I was stitching the Dictionary of Tea, I have a magnetic chart holder and I found I had to pad the clamp with tissue to make it tight enough to hold it, then it was stury enough for me to mark the chart without it all falling out!
With my teddy I'm not using it because the chart is smaller and even though I enlarged it, I couldn't go big enough without the symbols getting blurry!

If you use your scroll frame "in the well" you can rest your chart on the bottom of the frame which if fine for me as the teddies finish a good 6 inches from the side of the frame ;)

I could add a pic if you want as, reading that back, I'm not sure if it makes sense :o

It makes sense, I know what you mean :)
Thanks for the advice. I got some cash for xmas so I think I'll order the clamp and take a punt on it working.

I am regularly kicked off by my 3 year old wanting to play cebeebies and my 11 year old wanting on to play Sims. Pfft. :rotfl:

I now have visitors until New Years and also a new Professor Layton game to play. :o

Ohh that just reminded me - hubby bought me one of them for Christmas, I must give it a whirl :)

Started working on my brother/SIL to be's wedding pic last night. Black and baby pink wouldn't be my first choice for a colour scheme but it's not looking too bad, maybe a bit pale atm but I reckon it will come together
