Hi all. Got a little bit of stitching done today. Just 2 space invaders on a kit I started last year!
Had a rough evening. A car went into the back of my husbands motorbike as he was coming home. He's ok. Shaken up I think, but he's been very chatty. The bike was under the front if the car but once it was pulled but, we managed to get it started up & got it home (accident was under 1/4 mile away so RAC wouldn't recover it). Horrible to see the bike poking out from under a car though. How he's ok, I don't know....
Having a baileys now-partly to celebrate St Patricks day and partly to help me sleep tonight...

    ooh fab updates everyone :j

Here is snow white progress. so sorry about the quality of the pictures. when it's dark outside there is just nowhere in my house that has decent enough light to take a picture!

    You'll get the idea (hopefully)

My only problem has been that I have a grey missing from the kit  and have been given an extra green! I'll have to pop to hobbycraft tomorrow to see if I can find a suitable colour. Bit annoying but as I bought the kit from ebay is the USA I think it's the easiest way.

    Wow, fab progress ladies :)

Wen-tom - thats coming on nicely and as others have said, it's huge! Good luck :P

craftygranny - beautiful! did you frame it yourself?

I finished all the cross stitch on Santa yesterday, woo hoo! now for the backstitch and a wash (still not looking forward to putting it in water!) and finally the beads. I am getting quite excited about finishing it, it's the biggest thing I've done so far.

Ruth, so glad OH is OK, hope the Baileys worked it's magic.

Its the weekend! Nearly time for the stich & craft show on Sunday, yay! Not so sure how we'll get there cause of all the maintenance on tubes and trains over the weekend but I'm sure we'll manage it!

    Happy Stitching today folks :)

Ruth . That's one hell of a shock . Hope he's okay still today. Might just hit him all of a sudden what a lucky escape he had .

Skoobie . I did frame it myself the frame was a 20" by 16 " one from the Range for just under 10 pounds including the mount and i got some mount board for mounting the stitching from e bay .that was about 10 pounds for 10 sheets as i have a few pieces to frame up.

Wen tom That is coming along really well. are you enjoying it? .

Ruth. Sorry to hear about hubby and I'm glad he's ok.
My hubby has a bike too and even though he's only a 'nice warm weather' biker I still worry about him when he goes out.

  • I hear you on the bikes thing... !!!!!! is a biker... When it was snowing before Christmas, I had to beg him to take my car to work rather than risk the bike :)

I persuaded him to do the Institute of Advanced Motorists/Riders course as well, which he is enjoying, but you can't account for the behaviour/actions of others.

Glad hubby is ok :) x
