how/why are gold needles better? :o

I always thought they were really expensive!

I got sent this today -
    http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/craft11/?ns_service=mail&ns_robot=partner-communicator&ns_mail_uid=176&ns_mail_job=932667&ns_campaign=932667&ns_source=Communicator&ns_mchannel=email-n&ns_linkname=Untitled4&ns_fee=0&ns_recipient=wendy@stevetomney.karoo.co.uk

has anyone ever taken one of these offers out and cancelled within 60 days? I don't want to be stuck with the full price subscription but wouldn't mind one for 3 months for £1!

i just got some of those gold needles when i did my recent order . If anyone wants to try them out just pm me your address and i'll pop one or two in the post for you.

I took out one of those subs and emailed to say i didn't want to subscribe after the first 3 issues . The craft bag was great too just right to hold my knitting but would be great for other stuff too.

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger
  • I did 5 WOXS for £5 a couple of years ago... they make you phone up to cancel, and they ask you why you want to do so (I just said I didn't like it) - but it's no problem. They told me to cancel the DD with the bank, but it was fine

Ironically, I've resubscribed now, because it's much better than Cross Stitcher (IMHO)

    Evening all!

Here is my update, I have been quite busy stitching as I was off last week. Went up to Newcastle to visit some family which was lovely. I couldn't take Santa as my mum came too so I started a new kit I've had for a while...

and this is after 3 days stitching :)

I've made a little progress on Santa too, getting close to finishing!

    This was my last update

Phew! I feel very productive :D I've just bought 3 of those little card kits from hobbycraft to do for the Great Aunts Easter cards so I'll have to get started on those as well.

Anyone going to the stitch & craft show at Olympia this weekend? I'm taking mum and am really looking forward to it although I'm sure I'll spend a lot of money!

Nice progress on both projects sk00bie.

Look at all the backstitch on the Cathedral though!
Now, I don't mind a bit of backstitch but even my eyes widened when I saw it! :rotfl:

I managed a bit of stitching last night, so all of the cross stitch on my rocket is done :j Now I've just got to do the backstitch, which will be quite a task as there is always loads on the cut thru's! I'll post a progress pic later.

sk00bie- great progress, looks like you'll be backstitching as much as me!

Elle - I love that design, that'll look great when it's finished.

I've just realised how creased up it is. It's definitely going to need ironing!
