Thank you. I'm in Bangor so just across the water from you!! How lucky are you living near Craftswomans Fabrics. I love that place but don't get there too often unfortunately. Is it true that there is a good wool shop in Carrickfergus?
I'll PM my address to you.
Thanks again.0 -

I have no idea where Craftswomans Fabrics is...lol...
I don't knit but my Mum does, and yep the woolshop in Carrick has a great selection, however they are really dear. Mum prefers to go to a sort of pound shop in Ballyclare, they have a wide range and prices start from £1.20 a ball...Mum thinks the wool is lovely to knit with.;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -

I have self taught myself cross stitch and don't really know if I am doing it right. Have only done one project and even that is not finished. (Victorian poses, little bit of the corner or the background unfinished and long way of being the cushion it was meant to be).
However I bought this lovely cross stitch kit of a dog that I meant to do for my friend for wedding present. The problem is that it was her second anniversary Christmas gone. I would still like to do it but haven't even managed to put it on a frame.
Any kick up the backside gratefully received."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I can finally add something cross stitchy to the thread, yay me!
Anyways, as I said in a previous post, my Coronation Street finally came, last Monday, and I have put in a few hours over the last week so here is the result of Week 1, I must be the slowest stitcher ever as it doesn't seem like much??? LOL
Anyways, here is what it will look like when finished:
And this is how much I have done so far:
The above pic has been re-sized to fit better on the thread.
You can see the more in detail version here (hover over image and click to zoom in).
And click here to see day by day progress in my fb corrie cross stitch album.
Edited to add in: Just realised I need to change my sig. as I finally finished the scarf, yesterday yay!
