Oooh, great pics to look at! Loving them all. Tempted to stitch a stocking now... Like I don't have enough to stitch already.

Here's my week 4 pic for Princess Palace.

I've also sort of finished the Queen Anne House. Not sure if I want to add the christmas tree button to it or not. Will take a better pic tomorrow & post. iPod pics don't show the detail so well & being a small, beaded design, I think you need a better quality photo to get the full effect.

Need to think about my February challenges too. Where did January go???

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A

Sorry I don't have that chart anymore or the Rhiannon one as I sold them on ebay last year. I do have the other snowman one, Wee Glenn, if it is any use to you..

Ooh! Caroline.....that "Big Glenn" snowman stocking is just what I was looking for for my friend's little girl for next year - she'll be 1 3/4 by then.

Any chance of a cheeky ;)?

By the way - you can add you shots to the group now :D
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)
  • I see you are from Northern Ireland - me too! Where are you?

Would it be too cheeky to ask for a ;) of your February project? It's gorgeous.:o

Caroline78, I love love love your Christmas stockings - they're gorgeous! I especially love the snowman ones.

If you fancy any more charts, I've got the mouse one on Flickr and possibly some others from magazines?
  • Oh yeah, my February Challenge is still the same as in my signature, though I hope this will be finished soon and I can make a start on my Cousin's Mr Men/Little Miss Calendar she's asked me to do.
  • Have failed miserably on Januarys challenge :( Still have L and half of O to complete. Will move completion date to end of February.

Want to stitch the purple hearts for the place names aswell, but these will probably be a lunchtime project. There's only 20 to do, so achievable I think :D

I am half thinking of doing the same thing withe kiss and hug. Waiting on ink for the printer to print charts off (should be here tomorrow). What size of material did you use for you 14hpi and how many of each dmc colour did you buy to be enough for it.

Sorry for so many questions. Looking forward to the pictures.

    Kind wishes to all

  • Thrifty there is a cross stitch/card stall downstairs in the indoor market. It has two stalls on the side wall, one habadashery and one cross stitch /tapestry and cards. Hope that helps.

That looks great Ruth, it seems a few of you are coming along well with the SAL. I'm starting to regret putting mine away already!

I'm quite irritated with my hubby. He doesn't want me to stitch him a valentine's card, and I really wanted to do a cute teddy and heart design I found. He is such a humbug about things like that. He can't be bothered with anniversaries or anything either :(

On the plus side nothing to distract me from finishing the ark though :)

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
1st batch of ebaying posted, one little boy shattered and in bed (to the point we walked in the house he demanded a cup of tea then took it and curled up on the sofa).

quick tidy up then I'm gonna pick up my "grandparents" cross stitch. Am sooo annoyed I've already made 1 mistake (dropped a row with one line of letters). gonna see how it looks when finished as to whether I unpick and re-stitch that bit (pic later). 1st tho a quick hunt for a nice chicken soup recepie to make to take to work with the carcass and meat from yesterday.

    happy stitching people.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
