I'm still on target and hoping to keep on goiing. Keep at it everyone, think of that big £365 at the end of the year.
  • I had visitors yesterday and one of the kids found my terramundi (it acts as a door stop). Gave her the £1 to 'post it' for me, and then realised I'd have to do the same for her sister. So, £2 in yesterday :-)

Still put today's in as I don't want to break the routine!

I'm loving this, a great feeling of satisfaction, walking in the door from work and put my £1 and all the 1/2/5p in - can't believe I'm up to £20 already:j:j:j

I just hope I can keep it up when my temp job finishes end of Jan - off to look on jobcentre now for a new one.:D

Put another £7 in this week so now at £14:)
Also used £5 nectar points of shopping so putting that away with other money saved/found thats upto £13.45:j
The other thing I read on another forum was to transfere the odd pence or pounds (therefore rounding up the balance to a round figure) from your current account into a savings account at the end of each month and as I do my banking on line I am going to try this aswell
Its my Husbands 60th this year and want to do something special so trying to squirell away as much as possible
