Put £20 away the other day so that's me off for another year.:j
I have a diary next to my tin and count up the days then mark where I'm up to so £20 means I'm up to the 20th Jan.

23rdspiral - use some odd threads and make some cards on ebay?? sorry thats as far as i got with thinking :D

ebay eh? shamefully i must admit that i only ever buy, i've never figured out how to sell (even though i have some fabric packs left over from swaps that i know would shift really easily! :o silly me)

i thought about raiding my 'purse too heavy with change' money box, but then realised that kida defeated the object. ho hum.

    Hi All

Count me in for 2011, managed to make over £420 for last year in the same challenge. Whilst I am still going for the £365, I hope to add extra, as and when and will be looking for closer to £500.

Good luck everyone and best wishes for 2011.

Had a good money day yesterday and today - found quite a few gift cards lurking in the recesses of sofas etc over Christmas so took one to asda last night and it had £7 on it. Dd had managed to shred more school tights so went to buy some but they only had 2 sets left in her size and each set of 3 had 1 pair missing. Went to the desk and she reduced them to £2 per set -yay

Also went to fill up with petrol (eek) and handed over all the morrisons miles crads which were also clogging up the house and turns out that between all the cards we had enough for our £5 voucher and still abpout 2000 points left. Have put the voucher in the food spending pot for next week and am putting the £5 in the 365 box - double yay

Got an old M&S giftcard to take in next but have a feeling that it only has 7p on it!
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000
    Savings for big things £9017
