I went into store this morning at about 9am and got a top & a bag for myself , some underwear for my DH and then a pair of boots, shoes, cardigan, dress set and some hair bobbles for my DD's and 2 bedsets all for £82. Was quite pleased with that! Def better than online.

I went yesterday at 7am, queued for 40 mins to get in and was really disapointed with the older kids clothes. There was hardly any of the size I was after, managed to get a couple of girls tops, then a SA put out a load of coats in the size I was after, so bagged one of them. Had more luck with the baby boys clothes, got 2 lovely jumpers, a dungaree set, polo shirts, sleepsuits, socks and a jacket - all of which were out the current catalogue. Glad it started at 7am, as would have been really disappointed going at 5am to come away with what I got.

NEXT clothes are pricey, but for a reason. They wash and last very well. I have 2 boys, so only buy good quality clothing as want to be able to pass down to 2nd child. Cheap clothing is not cost effective. I buy all their NEXT clothes in the summer and winter sales, 50% off everything makes the clothes very good value. Very pleased with all my purchases this morning :j

No they are not well made at all - they are over priced cheap tat. Their clothes shrink and come apart. Personally I would rather pay the cheap prices at Primark but I hate Primark too. Both shops are like shopping at a jumble sale.

I used to work with a lady who would only dress her kids in Next clothes because she somehow thought they superior to other people. The kids looked liked clones of each other and so did all their little clone friends who shopped there.

Next clothes are cheap tat, especially the bits they bring in especially for the sale :-) Keep kidding yourself they are worth the price ;-) But each to their own. Glad you got some bargains.

Disagree with you there (another person). I'm not gonna say that they are the BEST quality, I much prefer Prada, but lets be realistic, they are much better than Primark and Peacocks and are comparable to Arcadia these days.

They are overpriced, but in the sale are priced VERY well.

i will say the quality of NEXT clothes is not as good as few years ago, but come on i will still not compare them to primark.

but theres is something like an obsession (well for me at least) queing up at early hours and browsing the sales in the shop, while lugging several bags at one time :)

when i was in uni, i wil laugh at people who q up early in the morning juz to get 50% off, now i am a mother of a 2 years old i realise how expensive kid can be, and next Jan, March,July, September sale has become something like a must-go every year

Well you obviously have issues with NEXT. Never had any shrinking or
    clothes coming apart.

I buy because of quality, not because I think my children will be "superior" in the clothes :rotfl:

Now if you want to talk about cheap tat, then you are right to mention Primark.
