    Yes but see post 409,plus all your get is £2.50p .Which you get on new sim anyway.

    I might be being really dumb, but could someone please clarify this for me. If I do this will my number change to that of the new sim card, or will it be my original phone number?

    You keep your number.
    It gives you credit on your current sim card for the new number then disconnects the new number so it can't be used.

    I tried txtng and it gave the 'we're having problems with this shortcode' txt back.
    But i brought a new handset granted it was a few months ago now but do you think if i call the number and explain to O2 they will give me any dosh ?
