texted as well and not got a reply.
Have a few sim cards with beaches on them and a few with leaves on the front so could try all of them.

To test if numbers from older simcards are still valid go here...

    http://www.o2register.co.uk/Sections/MobileNumber.aspx

Put the number in the box and click on continue.

You will either be taken to a page to put your postcode in if the sim is still active...(you can either continue and register, or quit and leave it unregistered)

Or you will get this message...The mobile number you have entered is not showing as active on our database :(
    Errrr...come back later ;)

You can save the cost of the txt message by using the freephone number first to find out what you 'Reward Bonus' will be.
    1. dial 5450 from your original(wanted) sim card, it will tell you the reward, its OPTION 1 that you want!
2 write down the 7 digit number that it gives you.
3 call 5450 from the new(unwanted) sim select OPTION 2
4 Enter the 7 digit number you wrote down
5 enter the phone number of the sim you want to keep
    6 confirm it

Just a quick note to say that the process quoted by W1zz will not work if your new (unwanted) sim has been used for more than 60 days - you get an authorisation failed message explaining this. Otherwise the tip sounds great.
