Oooooh - Good news No 2! Just logged into my DMP and it says my DFD is October 2012 NOT November, so I've knocked 2 months off

Well done! It's amazing how a small increase can knock so much off your DFD!

Good news on increasing the monthly payment, £15 doesn't seem too much but it's already knocking 2 months off! You're doing well! Keep up the good work!

Thank you both for your kind posts, I feel down right miserable today and they made me feel a little better. Bosses wedding was good, saw some people I haven't seen for ages, just a shame the drinks were ridiculously expensive! Upside was that I didn't buy any, other half got them!

Didn't end up going for the meal today, I wasn't feeling great after having a few drinks and not really sleeping so we just went to see his dad. Other half says we will go next week, at least I saved some money I guess. It's our anniversary today, I got him a nice card and he got me exactly what he got me last year.....nothing. Bit disappointed, its not like he didn't know. Things are a bit strained at the moment for me, there are a few things troubling me and I'm not sure what to do about them. Anyway, ill stop rambling now! Work tomorrow, how annoying.

Well done on knocking the DFD down :) With the way you manage to save I think DF by 30 could be a real possible.

Shame about the exams - although maybe a holiday just after might be even better knowing that all the stress is out the way?

Sorry about the anniversary - is he maybe just not an anniversary person? Me and OH just do a meal or something, no cards or presents. Does he know that it's important to you?

You do sound very down, so same as Pennies said, if you post here then we can try and help, or always here for a PM xxx

Thanks girls. I think it's just a rocky patch, it's our first one so I'm not really sure how to handle it and I don't really know what is going to make it better either!

Thank you all for your concern :).

Thought I would pop on and say I am feeling much better today, OH bought me some flowers, a cake and some scratchcards last night and gave me lots of cuddles so hopefully things will continue to improve over the next few days!

The good news is that it's payday on Friday! I've been very good so far this week but have a haircut on Thursday to pay for, I have gotten a bit confused about how much money I really have/don't have as I took some out of my savings so I will have to start again on friday and see how the next month goes. I am hoping I passed an exam in the last sitting as I will get a £250 bonus from work in August, so about £160 after tax. I've almost ear marked that to pay for our murder mystery evening and my few days in Cambridge with OH.

Also going to get the car booked in soon to have some work done,

Glad to hear that things have improved and that you're feeling happier x

Very excited bout the murder mystery evening! I am going to keep adding to my emergency fund I think and then take some from that to pay for it :)
