I left before to go to a full time job in a bank because it seemed like a good idea.
turns out it wasnt all that great, so i left just before christmas. not the best idea iv ever had in my life but i was making me that miserable i was getting ill and i didnt want to risk it leading to depression as that is a road i dont want to go down.
So now, despite struggling financially, I am happier and I'm sure thats what matters most.

I've walked out on two jobs before when they got to that stage, no job is worth making yourself ill over.....I've no regrets on leaving and can look back on both times with a little sense of pride in having the strength to get out before it was too late. Of course it was a struggle financially but that struggle was easier to deal with than any depression would have been.
Sounds like you're excited about going back to the theme park - when does the season end?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
I am very excited, but still looking for that equally exciting full time career job. I'm learning from experience though and sticking to the leisure and tourism industry, better the devil you know and all that!!
The main season doesnt even start til March, but we have half term week in Feb before that, then it will run until early November. Very much looking forward to it though

Help me people, I need a swift kick up the behind!!
On the plus side, I dont think I need to spend any money today, so that is my 2nd nsd of the week

I just had a productive moment

Both my car insurance and the contents insurance are due next month, and I've just done quotes for both, car insurance has come out cheaper than last year (will have to pay monthly now though but its come out as less than £50 per month) and contents ins has come out as around half what we currently pay. Need to discuss with OH later but looks good to me so I'm quite impressed with myself
