Visit to the shops done, and I walked :) was so tempted to take the car to go to the bigger store, but I walked to the smaller one, managed to only spend £9 (got sausages, burgers, chicken, pizza, fish, and crumpets) didnt get the urge to kill anyone (its really cramped and everyone is so rude!!) and we will no longer starve (well not for the next week or so anyway)
So all in all a positive trip.
Other jobs for the day are:
Wash last nights dishes (really need to start doing this before I get comfy after tea)
Tidy round the house (mostly pick up OH's clothes he likes to leave lying around)
Do wii fit (see if I've lost anymore)

But just for now I'm going to chill for a little bit until after I've spoke to OH on his lunch break

And I have just finished applying for two jobs, so fingers toes and everything else crossed.

Better go and tidy up as OH has a workmate coming round tonight to discuss a possible business venture...woopeee they will be talking cars all night!!!

  • Supposed to be at work today 1-5
    But now I'm not!!

Ah well, more time to get the housework done.

  • OK...it's to do list time...
    • Wash dishes and wipe worktops in kitchen
    • Make bed
    • Move some dust around and put things away in the bedroom
    • Tidy clean washing and junk off spare bed
    • Empty drier and put wet washing in
    • Wash dark load (and hopefully get dry too)
    • Sort out paperwork and boxes in box room
    • Sweep/hoover floors
Better get cracking or it'll never all be done before OH gets home from work about 3.30pm

Well done on getting all of your list done......I half heartedly started on the housework, put a few christmas bits away and then decided to go for a walk instead.

    Any plans for this evening?

Staying in as far as I'm aware, very tempted to order a takeaway, even though we have already planned pizza & chips which we have in and OH is perfectly happy with. And I dont want to end the year spending yet more money I dont need to spend. Must start as we mean to go on...will never lose weight and will always be skint if i succumb to the temptation!!

How about you?? any exciting plans?? xxxx

    Pizza and chips sounds great!

No plans here, plenty of offers but DH's meds kick in and he's normally sparko by 10pm. We've had a nice "picky" tea of all the left over bits and bobs and we've had a family game with DD's......quite boring really but secretly I'm quite pleased about that - no money spent and no worrying about taxis/clothes/food/drinks out.

Wishing you lots of happiness in 2011 x

  • Sounds like a lovely night, we're watching the Benidorm Christmas special and eating whats left of the Quality Street (the first tin anyway)

I hope 2011 brings you all you wish for xxxx
