Boxing day tube strikes

How do you think a "One Under" (person under the train such as suicide) affects the driver? !Im gonna guess you have first hand experience of the carnage left by "one unders" (person under a train)? It's very different giving professional medical care to these one unders when blood, guts and mutilations are part of your day job but as a driver its not so easy.
Unlike a nurse the driver will be able to bang in a claim for compensation.0 -

Its called trauma. hit someone with your car and see how well you cope.
Its not claims direct! what compensation??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
when ASLEf signed the 1996 agreement the situation was the drivers worked 1 or 2 bank holidays out of 5 now 14 years later theres 8 (10 in 2011) and we work all of them. So the agreement is out of date. With the Prince getting married and the queens diamond jubilee we all get 2 extra days public holiday. but you wont be wanting anything for them right?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. You are on to a bit of a loser here aren't you. Very much the wrong site to post on if you wanted sympathy.
For what it is worth, I work in the rail (not tube) industry, but still think the strike is wrong.0 -

Also its not the union holding london to ransom its TFL. They have the monopoly in London for all transport and roads so can and do charge the public extortionate fares. But cary on siding with them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

I dont want sympathy I just dont understand the negative attitude to the working class who decided that slave labour wasnt an option. If any of them had the chance to join a union would they say no? course not its all hypocritical.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Nothing to do with the trauma (which I don't dispute although with the compo claims there is a reason to make as much of it as possible), point addressed was this oneIm gonna guess you have first hand experience of the carnage left by "one unders" (person under a train)? the nurse gets nothing for dealing with it and the drivers etc can bang in the compensation claims.0
