I have finished the chairs and put some photos on my blog. I hope they last a while now as they were a hard job to do.

I am just off to see if I can find any surveys to do while I am having a well earned break.

Hi everyone, thanks for the blog love lol. The MAC is for Christmas but ordered some more for my birthday so I wont have to wait an extra 11 days.

I have a quick question for those married to posties. I have found out, an exceptional amount of post has gone missing and I am concerned it is being stolen as the majority of missing items are parcels. Jewellery, a computer game, even a framed photo from our photoshoot which they refuse to resend. There has been 6 or 7 items missing in November alone. We don't have a 'regular' post man, quite often we have an older chap but lately there have been two young males delivering lately, one of which was happy to give us post on the roadside without checking we were the residents, we did say we would open the door to prove it was our property but he wasn't bothered, a few days ago the other one I spotted stopping by the side of a house, taking something from the post bag and puttiing in his pocket. I need this sorted asap, does anyone know how to start an investigation immediatly to stop this as I am out of pocket and constantly chasing missing post/parcels!

Blimey Savvy, sounds a bit fishy to me, I hope you can get it sorted out. Can you look on the Royal Mail web site and see if they have a contact number on there and give them a ring? You should probably have to report it to the sorting office which is fine if its only the one rogue one but no good if its happening on a wider scale.

I came on to say I have had another voucher from T, I just checked my account on the off chance, only checked it this morning but it must have gone on during the day. I am really pleased as it means I could order a few more bits for OH that I was hoping to get. That will be plenty for him now, may be just some sweety things when I get a chance to go up the town.


I have totted up my spreadsheet for the year now I dont have to buy anything else. I am amazed by my totals.

For Birthdays etc for the year - Original cost £475.80 I actually paid £216.26 so saved £259.54

For Christmas - Original cost £972.58 I actually paid £452.53 so saved £520.05

And all of this money was earned doing the surveys and reviews throughout the year plus sales on Ebay and my Folksy shop and I am nearly £1500 up on top of all this so very happy at having another money neutral year.

Savvy - I would go to the Sorting Office and play your face. They've got to do something. Also fill in a complaint to the Head office. Here's the contact us form. http://www.royalmail.com/customer-service/contact-us Why won't the photo company send another one? Surely if it wasn't sent recorded that's their fault and up to them to prove it was sent, not you that it wasn't delivered (if you see what I mean).

Rufus - fab totals Woohoo. Money Neutral for how many years is it now? three, or four?

Cornish - I feel the same - All I'm going to do in Jan is paste them into Dooyoo. Another one done and other two suggestions added to the site. I'm going to aim for three today. I might be pushing it though, I've only just put one on, if I can do one after tea and one before bed, it should be ok shouldn't it? I hate to think that people think we are churning, but some people are obviously writing several reviews per day about things that they don't even own or use - it really bugs me.

Elysia, I think you'll be fine putting 3 on, I agree its so annoying seeing people review anything and everything. I'm going to start putting 3 on a day if I can manage to write, its just trying to find the right time to put them on to optimize ratings!

When you put and idea on chow it asks for the idea ie dog food and then the type - but it wont let me put the type it just has arrows - i'm completely stuck - please help

Think I've managed it now. Will everyone be nice to me and watch out for me - I'm jal1 on chow. My reviews aren't going to be at your standard as I'm new to all this but hopefully I'll get better.
